Dr. Jason Onur Toy, MD

Dr. Toy performed a "360" fusion on my lowest 3 lumbar disk levels, and a 2 level laminectomy above that, less than 3 weeks ago. I have great results so far. The pain is easily controlled with a minimal amount of pain medication. I'm walking twice a day, and according to my pedometer I'm walking 3 - 4 miles a day. Dr, Toy reviews my xrays taken 2 weeks post op and he is optimistic that I will have a favorable outcome. I share his optimism. I could not have selected a better spine specialist for my care. My spine was in very bad shape with asymetric degenerative disk disease. Dr. Toy never pressured me into surgery. He favored a more conservative approach. I pushed for the surgery after looking at my xrays and MRI report. Before surgery I found Dr. Toy to be a good listener and he was very informative about my spinal anatomy. He always answered all my questions. He never rushed through my preop appointments. After surgery he visited me personally every day while I was recovering as an… inpatient for 3 days postop. I would highly recommend Dr. Toy to anyone suffering from severe back problems. He is highly skilled and almost more importantly he cares and he is highly supportive. My entire experience thus far with Dr. Toy has been worthy of my 5 star review. I am so thankful and optimistic about my future thanks to him.

Dr Toy is a great surgeon. I had my neck fused and Dr. Toy was the best for the job. Every aspect of my problem and the surgery I needed was fully explained to me and the experience was better than expected. I cannot thank him enough for giving me my life back!

Just had my three month post surgery followup...Dr.Toy said my Xrays look good and released me to perform some more limited activities of lifting weighted items.I was limited to 10 pounds..now I can lift more within limits I'm comfortable with. I can also bend and twist within my comfort limits/zone. I like Dr.Toy's Dr./patient frankness and overall bedside manner. I'm very comfortable with him and respect his comments and care.

Over the past 11 months I have seen at least 17 doctors, including 2 surgeons. I have degenerative disc disease and spinal stenosis in multiple areas causing a lot of disabling symptoms. Dr. Toy was scheduled as a 2nd surgical opinion and frankly, I was pretty tired of seeing doctors at this point. But, I found him to be extremely caring, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. I left his office feeling full of hope! He agreed with the 1st doctor's plan of treatment: a 3 level anterior approach cervical discectomy and fusion. I chose him instead to do the surgery because I was impressed with my first visit and he had really great training and experience. He was confident, listened to my concerns and able… to explain to me exactly what was needed and why. He showed me the problem areas on the images. Plus, he went to great lengths to make sure that my expectations of the potential outcomes were realistic and on point for this procedure. It is now 3 weeks post op and I am doing great! The procedure went very well with no complications and I am on the road to recovery!! I am so glad that I followed my gut and had him do the surgery! I highly recommend him and plan to have him do the next surgery (for the lumbar stenosis) as soon as I am healed from this one! Thanks, Dr. Toy!

I visited this doctor because of an excruciating radiating pain because of slip disc ( lumbar.) He was in a hurry and seem like he didn't have time for my questions. All he said was "you don't have to come back you can just go for pain management and they will give you a steroid injection." Whatever therapy he recommended didn't help. I decided not to go back since he said you don't have to come back. I guess he has other patients who are important. I was disappointed. I will not recommend this "doctor"

After having a less than satisfactory experience with other orthopedic surgeons. I was extremely pleased with my treatment by Dr. Toy and his staff. He clearly explained my condition, patiently answered my questions and did not rush through our appointment. I feel very comfortable with his treatment plan. Lisa at the front desk is great and Heather, Dr. Toy's assistant, is also great.

My Aunt has spinal stenosis. She required surgery to relieve pressure on the nerves. Dr. Toy was recommended to do the surgery. He was very professional and friendly to my Aunt and family. Very concerned for her needs. We really appreciated his kindness and great work. His staff and nurses are totally awesome too. If you need a Orthopedic surgeon I would suggest Dr. Jason O. When it comes to seeing a dr I usually dont look forward to it but when I met dr toy and his staff I now have no problems at going to see one. Right from the start I was greeted with a beautiful smile from the receptionist Lisa. She was very sweet and helpful. Dr. Toy couldnt have a better and beautiful sweet girl at the front desk to greet his patients. Heather is also very helpful and a good girl as well. I would highly recommend Dr. Toy for your next doctor, just not at the Alliance office because of the disrespect I seen there from the other girls that work in the back (not Lisa and Heather) but the very UNPROFFESSIONAL IMMATURE LITTLE GIRLS THAT WORK for Dr. Vayani. They I would not recommend because of the very disrespectful girls they are and their office manager ain't any better. Dr. Toy is the one you want to see
