Dr. Jaspreet Singh Sekhon, MD

I fell over my dog on my steps a year ago, When I saw Dr. Sekhon, he was EXTREMELY SMART, answered all of my questions and was very reassuring, his demeanor and focus on my issues were answered and thoroughly explained in detail, I would highly recommend this Doctor, He is extremely focused on detail , end result, I’m 100% better!!!!!

Dr. Sekhon instructed his xray technician to put a cast on the hand with the hair line fracture in it. I couldn't understand why the Doctor didn't apply the cast. David isn't a doctor or PA, he takes xrays only. The hand never healed properly. I would never return to Kings Highwy Orthopedic Associates office ever again.

It was very easy to get an appointment. They were very accommodating to squeeze me in there schedule. Now the wait time is ridiculous. I have waited up to 2 hrs to be seen. No one in the office bothers to give you any notice of delay when you check in. When you ask the front desk about how long the wait will be they get annoyed and never get back to you with a answer. When you finally get in to see the Dr. Sekhon he is great, very caring and explains everything carefully. He answered all the questions I had and I didn't seem rushed. His assistant was very helpful as well. Now his surgical scheduling department is a huge problem. She was very rude and seemed very annoyed when I asked a question. The worst part is that the office manager sat in the same office as her and did not attempt to address my issues until I got very upset. This encounter has made me actually not schedule my surgery wit Dr Sekhon. Its a shame that such a great Doctor would have such unprofessional and… unsympathetic staff.

He is harried, tense and nervous. Dr Sekhon is dismissive to my problem and concerns. He does not like to be asked questions, as he gives the impression you're wasting his time. He is curt and inconsiderate and exhibits a narcissistic personality style, which is definitely not healthy for the patient. Dr Sekhon does not give his time and attention and was quick to snap shut the manilla folder after only 3 minutes and sprint for the door--like he had better things to do than be with me, the patient. Not only was I in pain from my condition, but Dr Sekhon added further to my pain and frustration by his care-less attitude and dismissive approach to my care. I hope the insurance companies read my honest review and strike him off their list of "preferred providers" because he is definitely not anything close to providing preferential treatment and decent patient care. He comes across as self-absorbed and hyperanxious with little regard for the ailing patient before him. He left my with an… indelible negative experience of everything a doctor should "not" be or do. I would never recommend him to any one. Not ever.

Dr. Sekhon is a thorough doctor who listens to his patients! He really cares about their concerns and addresses them! How refreshing in this day and age. In my case Surgery was not an option because of my age and other factors, but he gave me other options and if it didn't help, He gave me another option. He has helped me to manage as well as can be expected under the circumstances. I now have MORE good days than bad and truly appreciate the outstanding Doctor and Surgeon he is. Thank you Dr. Sekhon !!

Poor bedside manner & lousy diagnosistic skills.

He gave clear explanations of conditions and outlined all options with benefits and drawbacks

He doesn't listen to the patient and takes what the patient says for granted or is in disbelief. He treats only the condition without treating the side effects of the procedure he's implementing--namely pain management. Very conservative doctor in his medical approach, when patient would prefer a more aggressive approach to his/her condition. Unfortunately the patient's wishes for their own care are dismissed. I am unhappy with with this doctor and would not recommend him to a friend or family member.
