Terrible horrible awful !! I wouldn't see this doctor if he were the last psychiatrist on earth, I would rather hang myself. He made me feel embarrassed ashamed and even more depressed than when I went in I was traumatized. avoid this person like the plague.

highly informed and knowledgable with over 25 years of experience. Made me feel at ease right away and it was obvious he knew what he was doing. Educated in the best U. S. medical school he made the appropriate diagnosis and prescribed the effective treatment in no time. I highly recommend him, especially for hard to diagnose patients

Dr. Razani is a busy Dr. because he is involved in teaching( professor of psychiatry, USC School of Medicine ), clinical Research and also private practice. When I went to see him, I found the experience well worth the effort. He is up-todate, very detail in his evaluation, and after seeing 2 other psychiatrists, finally I found one who had the knowledge to make an accurate DX and prescribe the appropriate medications with referral for proper talk therapy. I believe these are the key qualities that I want in my Dr. and I highly recommend him, especially for complicated cases, without hesitation

Starting with the front office people. I didn't have cash on me and they couldn't take any kind of a card. So, the lady made me walk to an ATM to get $20 instead of just billing me. (Keep in mind, my insurance was taking care of the other $300 or whatever this "doctor" was being paid. The doctor spent adequate time with me. Asked plenty of questions, but like most doctors... came to the conclusion he wanted to, not the right one. After ONE VISIT, he put me on an antidepressant (I was not depressed) that had horrific side-effects and made me 200% worse in a matter of two days. The best part? When I called to ask him what was going on, he never answered. Never called back, never did anything. I called the front office and they'd just ship me to voicemail. This entire operation is a complete disaster from top to bottom. Several other doctors I've seen since have encouraged me to take action against him for negligence. The only reason I haven't is that I'm feeling better and just don't… have time. If you go to this doctor, you will be a number... not a person. You will be mistreated and likely misdiagnosed. He will feed you the closest medicine he has on his shelf and kick you out, and won't follow up. Do yourself a favor, find an out of network doctor if you have to. Sell your car, do what you have to do... but see a REAL doctor before seeing one of these Blue Cross jockeys. Do your own research and take ownership of your own health. Best of wellness to you.

MAKING APPOINTMENT WAS A LITTLE BIT DIFFICULT. BUT WHEN WE GOT THERE WE FOUND A THOROUGHLY KNOWLEGEBLE PSYCHIATRIST WHO IS TRAINED IN ONE OF THE FINES ...

My wife was seeing Dr Razani (Bipolar Disorder), but we lost our jobs and insurance, so she was running out of pills. We contacted Direct RX Access to see if we could afford her pills through them, but it required a doctor's signature on the paperwork (for the prescriptions).We made an appt (which cost $150) for a month later (the EARLIEST time he could see a non-insurance patient.He ended up telling her the paperwork was too involved and that without a job/insurance, she would not be able to afford the pills. He gave her about 3 weeks of samples, with the following advice...GO TO VERDUGO HILLS MEDICAL CENTER AND ACT CRAZY UNTIL THEY HELP YOU.Are you serious? Since when are doctors supposed to evaluate your income, and base their prescriptions on it? And when did a doctors advice to act crazy at a hospital become acceptable?We will be filing something with the medical board as soon as this rating is done - unfortunately, they did not have a choice for no stars, or that would be the… rating - ZERO!
