Dr. Deimel diagnosed my hip when others told me I needed spine surgery. Him and his team are amazing! He’s done right and left shoulder reconstructions on me within the last couple years with great success. Returned to sports way ahead of protocol. I highly recommend!

I saw Dr. Deimel for hip labral tears on both hips. At 51 years, my joints were not keeping up with the rest of me! The surgeries and follow-up appointments showed that Dr. Deimel and his team are compassionate professionals ready to listen to my concerns and develop a treatment plan that I was comfortable with. I feel fortunate that a surgeon of his caliber is available in our city. After both hips have been repaired, I am back to the activities that have eluded me after a few years of hip pain and stiffness that kept me on the sidelines. I highly recommend him and his team!

I would highly recommend Dr. Jay Deimel and his team at St. Vincent Hospital. I had a Right Hip labral tear repair in Nov. 2020 and received excellent care. This care extended from my surgery until my recovery was complete. Dr. Deimel continued to follow my recovery long after what most surgeons would do. I was a patient but am also an R.N. with 35 years experience in Critical Care. Dr. Deimel's team which included excellent Physical Therapists, developed a specific exercise program for me. This team approach completed my healing process. I'm happy to be able to do the things I enjoy once again without pain!

He goes above and beyond for his patients by making sure that you are always comfortable and knowledgeable of your care plan from start to finish. Dr. Deimel and his staff were excellent in their care for my teenage daughter who required shoulder surgery (labrum repair) due to an injury. Dr. Deimel is a very skilled surgeon and got her back to, if not better than, her pre-injury condition. I am also a registered nurse and highly recommend Dr. Deimel for any orthopedic needs.

I highly recommend Dr. Jay Deimel and his practice. After months of tests, doctors visits, and trips to Cleveland Clinic and no diagnosis or help for pain, Dr. Deimel was able to diagnose and surgically repair my hip. I went from bed rest and months in a wheelchair to being back to life and active. I wish I had seen him first and saved myself months of suffering. Although he works a lot with athletes, I am a middle aged woman, and so don't assume because in some places his practice is referred to as "sports medicine" that you have to be an athlete to see him.
