Dr. Jayati Chakravarty Singh, MD

Dr. Singh told me my children didn't need annual check ups after the age of 3. Then when I needed to get in to see her. She complained we had not been in for over a year. Acted like she was doing me a favor by even seeing us. We had an appointment waited 1 1/2 hours to see her then after another 45 minute wait when we attempted to leave and go to urgent care she just yelled at us. Never went back. I was told she had done this to others as well.

In the beginning I thought Dr.Singh was very caring in regards to my daughter being a premature baby. I always thought she was a little nosey, asking questions about my families finances. I always heard she was rude, but defended her to people who spoke badly about her. Well the day came when I seen her true colors. My daughter had gotten extremely sick on a Friday morning, so I called and was told that someone would call me back!!! I kept calling and receptionist was extremely rude, so I decided to take my daughter to the emergency room because her fever continued to spike. She was admitted into TMH that evening and when I followed up with Dr.MEAN about her staff not passing on my messages, she went off on me:( She had an intern with her and the first thing she said when she came into the room wasn't how was my child feeling...it was 1st of all my staff isn't a liar and if she said you didn't call, you didn't!!! I was so angry, but I refused to argue with her while my child was… sitting on the table with her under clothes on. So I'm happy that most of you think she's a wonderful doctor. But my advice is don't ever complain about her office staff not following up because her HORNS will definitely come out!!!

I totally disagree with the reviewer that claims she was disrespectful towards their family. Some parents, and I have seen it, have no control over their children and the kids rule the parents and try to rule the doctor during the visit.... Just saying... Where to begin? She is respectful, listens, asks questions, even though we may disagree on some things like vaccinations, she respects our opinion and still treats us with respect and dignity. She has been our son's doctor for 8 and a half years. I am in tears over the fact that I must change doctors due to insurance change. She always makes sure there is coverage even on holiday weekends. Our son has special needs and I could not imagine the last eight years without her and her staff. THE LADIES ARE ALL SO AMAZINGLY CARING, COMPASSIONATE, ETC. The Office Mgr., Ms. Christy, is also a gift from God, but then again all of them are. I am so thankful for all the times I called them in desesperation for many reasons. They have always been… there for us with love, compassion and care beyond what anyone else seems to in our days. They are truly incredible human beings, including the partner, Dr. Hugger, who covered once or twice for Dr. Singh. We are thrilled that they now have a new beautiful office. So sad that we will not be there with them... Oh God, I pray they join the new insurance!

She is not applying hygienic rules during visits. I never saw her wearing gloves or cleaning her hands in front of us BEFORE doctor controls. All of American doctors whenever come to patient room, first thing they do is cleaning their hands using hand disinfectant and then wear gloves. But she never do that. Other these issue, she is okay.

Sometimes there may be a long wait, but she is worth waiting for. She spends time with you and your child, not at all rushing through. She listens and responds to concerns with the outmost respect for a parent who cares. We love her. One of the reasons we stayed in this city is her and her staff!!!

Dr Singh is amazing. After moving here when my daughter was 9mo old i was nervous about finding a new doctor. She is AMAZING. My daughter is now 5 and loves going to see her. Dr. Singh asks her questions directly and always takes time to answer my questions. I don't know what we would do without her or her staff!

I would definitly recommend Dr. Singh. Her staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Singh's Diagnostics are very accurate I would recommend her to anyone looking for a new Doctor.

Dr. Singh was very rude to my family. She wasn't patience and asked questions that didn't pertain to my child's wellbeing. She was derogatory and condescending. She didn't listen to us. She assumes she knows your childs best interest better than you. She doesn't respond properly. She answers questions at her convenience. She acted indifferent towards my family.

Dr. Singh sees both of my girls, and has since their births. She is wonderful on so many levels. Always cautious with medication (including antibiotics), always easy to talk to and responsive, great with kids (gets down on their level and is very caring and maternal) and she is a great friend and encourager to parents. She always shares examples/experience from her own parenting and is very empowering. Other docs have missed/misdiagnosed my kids, but Dr. Signh takes the time to be rational, conservative and thorough. An A+ doctor!
