Dr. Jeanine M Ellinwood, MD

Dissatisfied with Dr. Ellinwood's willingness to listen to patient family concerns and questions. Her staff at hospice was wonderful, unfortunately she has been less so. As a doctor specializing in palliative care I would hope that she would evaluate each patient individually to determine the best approach to providing none curative end of life care. However, my grandfather is currently experiencing pain being exasperated by dehydration. I realize this is a controversial issue, but feel that injecting more subcutaneous morphine is not an appropriate answer for an individual who is septic, with rapid heart rate... Who was not and still is not being properly cared for in his current facility. I would like to caution anyone considering dealing with this doctor. I do hope others have a better experience than we have.
