Dr, Jeanine M Loncar's exams are thorough and personable. She listens well, offers great medical advise and treatment as needed. She has been my doctor for about 10 years now.

Told Dr.loncar I was having pain and she said it was normal it was just Braxton Hicks when really it was early contractions, we went on a road trip and I had really bad contractions and didn’t go to the hospital right away because she told me it was fine so I almost had the baby in the car. I have PCOS and I’ve really struggled to find a Dr who even half way cares about me or what I want for my future. She was very helpful and reassuring. I really felt like the whole staff worked as a whole. I’m very pleased and appreciative ??

Dr. Loncar may be knowledgeable, but her bedside manner is non-existent and her surgical abilities are extremely poor. She will not talk to patients on the phone, even when there are bad test results to convey and treatment options to discuss. She's not interested in your goals only hers. The wait times in the office are extraordinary, and she never sticks around long enough to allow you to ask questions. I plan to find another doctor.

Very rude front desk staff. They call you 3 times to make a payment. Then never respond after payment is made. Nurse never returns the call to schedule any surgery for 2 days. She is always busy at the clinic. A little bit caring and compassion would be appreciated.

First off, the receptionist (blonde hair, short) is very rude. I believe in having a great doctor you have to have a great staff and she doesn't. It took her 20 minutes for her to take my insurance card and drivers license and give me paper work to fill (even though I had just been in recently). After about 45 minutes of waiting, I walked up to the receptionist and asked her how much longer my wait was going to be. She proceeded to tell me that there was more than one doctor in the office and then she said she would check. She never checked. After one hour and fifteen minutes of waiting, I was called back by her nurse, Kim. She was very pleasant, warm, and inviting. She took my blood pressure and etc. Then she put me in ANOTHER waiting room. I waited there for thirty minutes. I was finally out in a room. By the time Dr. Loncar came in, I had waited 2 hours. I was there for my yearly and she was in the room with me for less than 5 minutes. I had questions to ask and she didn't stick… around long enough for me to ask. So after I got dressed I asked her nurse. She told me to wait and ask Dr. Loncar. Her first words when she came back in was "why didn't you ask me when I was in here?" I was angry at this point. Then I go to check out. The older lady who checked me out ran my credit card for $0.20. So she had to refund that and run it for $20. By this point I was so mad. Horrible experience.

First, I am 27 years old and this is my first pregnancy. The receptionist at Clinic for Woman in Madison could be more helpful and prompt. They aren't really bad, but I think they could be better. I LOVE the nurses there! They are understanding, helpful and friendly. Whenever I call because I am unsure of a pregnancy symptom, Barbara explains what is happening in a way I can understand it and then tells me I did the right thing by calling so I never feel bad about calling a lot with questions. I am so thankful for Dr. Loncar. I had Hyperemesis Gravidarum during my first trimester, lost a total of twenty pounds, and was severely dehydrated. Dr. Loncar sent me to the hospital for IVs, explained to me what was happening while I was crying in the room, and she and her staff worked with my insurance company to get a home nursing service at my home so I could use the IV in the comfort of my home instead of the hospital. She followed up with me multiple times during this time and was a great… comfort. After I was feeling better and off the IV, Dr. Loncar sat down with my husband and myself and we made a pregnancy plan for following pregnancy so I will be prepared and know what to do if it ever happens again. Even now in my third trimester, she never acts like she is in a hurry with me and always asks me if I have any questions for her before she leaves the room.
