Dr. Jeffery L Crick, DO

Dr Crick is so easy to talk too. He listens and is.very thorough. He takes his time to give good sound advice. He is also my husband doctor. We both find him very professional.

Dr. Crick and I spent about 15-20 minutes discussing my health. He then began to ask me some personal questions, and I thought he was making conversation. He asked if I was religious. Upon finding that I was not, he began to tell me how the Bible was a good book and encouraged me to read it. He told me the Biblical story of Jona. He talked at me about this religious story for about 15 minutes. I was very uncomfortable and did not know what to say. It was clear to me he was proselytizing- and trying to encourage me to go towards Christianity.  I deemed this interaction to be highly inappropriate and I documented it on a small note on my phone immediately. What made me the most upset is that Dr. Crick spent almost equal time talking about my health as he did trying to make me a Christian/ telling me about the Christian faith. It was clear to me he was not overly concerned with my health, and was more interested in telling me about his faith. I have reported this to the Mayo Clinic. It… is fine that Dr. Crick has a rich faith background. It is not fine that I had to pay for him to try to convert me.

I was very pleased with my experience with Dr. Crick and his staff. Very detailed and professional.

I’ve never met a more compassionate doctor. He genuinely cares about the whole patient. He is really the answer to 2 years of praying for the right doctor. He spends so much time with his patients and has great wisdom. I can’t recommend him enough.

this is the first doctor in my life that I refuse to go back and see. he does what's in his financial best interest and does not care about his patients. he was my primary for about 18 months - after 2 or 3 bad experiences with him I am done. I'm actually curious if he graduated from medical school. don't be fooled because he works at Mayo - good hospitals have bad doctors too.

While his bedside manner is excellent, however, he has been unable to help me with several common illnesses (flu/cold, stomach flu)with illness being prolonged, six weeks and 2 1/2 months. He generally refers to a specialist for any condition you discuss. Overall seeing him seems like a waste of time. When you become ill and truly need to see him there is a two week wait. If he needs to see you for a checkup, appointments are available. They do refill prescriptions you take regularly when asked. Office staff and nurse, 3 out of 4, are very pleasant and helpful.
