Dr. Jeffrey Alan Baydin, MD

Dr. Bayden did Rotator Cuff surgery on my shoulder. Have had nothing but problems since. Very arrogant with extremely poor bedside manor. Unfortunately my companies Workers Comp insurance company forced me to go to him for treatment. I would rather live with the injury than go to this doctor again !!

Dr baydin diagnosed a torn miniscus and performed surgery. I could not be more pleased. He did a terrific job at the repair. He explained exactly what was wrong. The surgical center that he used worked like a well oiled machine. Very efficient and effectine. My discomfort post surgery was minimal.

we have been to this office a couple times,the wait is usually an hour, today it was 90 minutes, and no apology. once we got in to see the dr, they had to take xrays which they knew were needed, i asked if they could do them while we waited for the dr., they said no. so we were at the office over 2 hours

I had a total knee replacement with no preparation or understanding as to what would be involved. Baydin told me I had severe arthritis and needed both knees replaced. When I reacted, heresponded with, "Why are you crying,it's not like you have cancer!" The first operation resulted in a slow recovery, and when I was wheeled into his office two days before what I understood to be my scheduled second surgery, Baydin told me I wasn't in the book, and besides he was now out of my insurance network and he could reschedule but I'd have to pay out of pocket. I was completely devastated. and paid my $70 co-pay for that horrible visit and left. I was able to find another surgeon and was operated on four weeks later. Months later, Baydin's office began tohound me for $76--the balance of that pre-surgery office visit-- since they no longer took my insurance. I told them I thought $70 was enough payment for wasting my time and causing me incredible distress.They replied by putting it into… collections.

Unbelievable. This guy didn't think my mom's hip pain was serious because she was "too young". So he never checked it out. Another doc did an MRI and found a spontaneous fracture. She has osteoporosis, but no one knew that at the time.

Missed diagnosis on my aunt's broken hip. Had to take her into NYC also for correct diagnosis and treatment - at Lenox Hill Hosp..
