I was referred to this office for a complex endocrine issue. Instead of a consultation, the office claimed I had a 'STAT' emergency and directed me to a cancer center immediately. When the specialists at the cancer center reviewed my file, they found no evidence for the referral and tried to contact Dr. Brown four times for clarification. He refused to return their calls or speak with me, leaving me without care for a debilitating condition. To be sent to a cancer clinic and then ghosted is unprofessional and traumatic. Scary! I am a thyroid cancer patient with hypothalamic issues-a difficult case to treat. Dr Brown's office assistant, Deann, claimed I was diabetic and that I threatened her. I am not close to being diabetic and I would never threaten someone. She told Dr Brown these lies and he refused to see me. I had had a thyroid crisis a few days before that day that required an ER visit. I needed Dr Brown to straighten out what another Methodist doctor had messed up regarding my care. Apparently doctors indiscriminately cover for one another at the patients' expense. Dr Brown came recommended to me by my husband's colleagues. I require a competent dr that does not have staff that slanders their patients. You should look for the same. Find another doctor other than Dr Brown.

After ten years of endless waits and unfriendly staff, I will find someone else. This is the third review I've tried to submit.

After seeing Dr. Brown for about ten years, I've had enough of the long waits and unfriendly staff. The office called to say I needed to stop in for a retake on bloodwork, and I was assured I wouldn't need to wait; just walk in. Guess what? After ten minutes, and an empty waiting room, I told the clerk I needed to be somewhere. She said the lab lady was busy on the computer and she'd be right with me in about five more minutes. I said I'd come back another time. I won't, though. Will have my primary doc handle the thyroid bloodwork or find another endocrinologist.

My Spouse and I have been patients for about 5 years. He literally saved my life and transformed my wife’s life with his findings and treatments. We travel from Lafayette, La to remain patients under his care. He’s one of the finest Doctors with the most amazing bedside manner. We will both be indebted to him for life for what he had done for us.

Brown is expensive, but if you want to get bigger, faster, stronger and not get caught. He’s the go to guy.

Polite and professional, smart and positive, Dr. Brown helped me cope with my unbearable condition. He brought me back to my normal life. Fatigue, which affected me for years finally goes away. If you are out of energy, experiencing fatigue after 8 hours of dleep, go to Dr. Brown, he will order all necessary tests and will explain what happens to you. He is easy to talk , takes time to listen to you and hears you too. He will answer all your questions. He provides a great care.

I know this sounds extreme, Dr. Jeffrey Brown saved my life. I have been physically fit and an elite athlete my entire life and after several years of feeling off (menstrual cycle bleeding 17 days a month, extreme fatigue, hair falling out and anxiety), I was introduced to Dr. Brown who immediately suspected hypo- thryoidism. He said he needed to do several tests to confirm and rule out other possibilities. By the way, I had my thyroid checked multiple times and was told that it was in the "normal range". I live in a large city and yet after seeing several doctors who attributed my symptoms to just getting "old". Thank God for Doctors like Dr. Brown. He is an excellent, comprehensive, thourough and an extremely intelligent provider.

Mainstream endocrinology does not recognize any acceptable hypothyroidism treatment other than synthetic T4, and Abbott, the maker of Synthroid, pays Brown thousands of dollars every year (this is publicly available information) to strictly follow a T4-only treatment regimen. This is exactly what he did with me, and my symptoms worsened until I had to find a new doctor. If you are not responding well to a T4-only treatment, please investigate alternatives (such as WP Thyroid, NP Thyroid, and other NDT treatments) -- and run far, far away from Jeffrey Brown. But it is difficult to find an endo who isn't just like him.
