Dr. Jeffrey Garelick, MD

It's special to find a physician who merges competence with genuine caring and empathy. Dr Garelick listened carefully, patiently and asked insightful questions to get to the bottom of the problem experienced by my family member. We never felt rushed and were encouraged to share whatever we felt was relevant. Likewise, his Nurse Practitioner and the office staff were attentive and accommodating. When there was an administrative glitch, perhaps on our part, which can happen in any practice, his staff did somersaults to resolve the issue. You will appreciate both the professionalism and the dedication of Dr. Garelick and his team.

Have been trying to reach the office ,leave messages, and no one will return my CALLS

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Garelick and his office staff. I had bleeding and was in a panic for answers. Sandy was so empathetic toward me and went out of her way to try to get me in to see Dr. Garelick asap. She called me back and was able to get me in the very next day. I was so grateful. When I arrived at the Gardens office the next day, the staff was very helpful and check in was easy. Rosa assisted me with my vitals and was not only professional and efficient, but also personable. I was feeling very anxious about my condition and I had never met Dr. Garelick until that day. As it turns out, I was extremely impressed. He was the kindest, most sympathetic doctor I've ever spoken to. He listened to what I had to say as far as my symptoms and concerns and answered all my questions without rushing me. He made an embarrassing situation feel normal and comfortable. Not only that, he was able to get me in for my procedure 2 days later!!! Before I left, he… reassured me that he'd get to the bottom of everything and explain everything to me after the procedure which he did. On the day of my procedure, he and his staff were in great spirits and made me feel so secure and confident in them. When I opened my eyes, Dr. Garelick was literally right there telling me I did great and that everything went smoothly. Again, if you ever have any gastric or colon problems, make sure you get in with Dr. Garelick. You will not be disappointed.

Doctor Garelick has treated me for over 15 years. He is a doctor that truly cares about his patients and provides outstanding service and treatment(s). I would recommend him to anyone without any reservation.

Went to Dr. Garelick for continuing follow for family history of colon cancer. He was personable and never seems rushed. Had subsequent colonoscopy which was performed at their facility. I have had several previous procedures at other sites and this was the most convenient and efficient.

Dr. Garelick saw my uncle in the hospital. He reviewed his test results carefully, examined my uncle, and then suggested a very thoughtful and conservative plan of action. He answered all of our questions and spent as much time with us we needed. I could not have asked for a better Doctor

Awful physician, never listens and is condescending

I thought he was an excellent physician. Unfortunately, the incompetence and arrogance of his scheduler has forced me to find a new provider. She was in too much of hurry to update my address and phone number when I called to make an appointment. Unfortunately, she told me the wrong office and I went to the office in PBG when they were in the WPB office. I didn't even know there was a WPB office. When I called her she yelled at me with her thick accent saying she tried to call me the day before. I guess she's forgotten that she'd refused to update my contact information on the phone. I waited 4 days for an appointment with a very uncomfortable ailment. Her incompetence forced me to be uncomfortable for another 4.

This man should not have a medical license. He is why people don't trust doctors. He was gastroenterolgist on my mother's case when she was admitted for a GI bleed. Never examined her, never made any attempt to communicate with the family about her condition. Uncaring, rude, when I asked him to call me if he came in to see my mothèr and I wasn't there, he said he would not. We had someone with our mother 24/7 for 7 days in hospital. He wrote 2 notes on her chart but never came into her room to see her. There are many other qualified doctors in our community. Keep looking do not go to this "doctor" for medical care.

What a rude sob. Never again!!! He can't even look at you when your talking to him. Never smiled, acted like I was a nuisance in his day.
