Dr. Jeffrey Stuart Gottfried, DO

Coming from over 30 minutes away it was a first new patient visit I was 10 minutes late and was refused to be seen. I had pre checked in, provided all personal information and insurance coverage prior to my arrival. I had been there previously with another patient who was driving me there and we had been misdirected because the office recently moved. On the way I called twice to confirm the correct address and twice was hung up on by the office staff. Because of the misdirection I was 10 minutes late but the staff caused that delay by not answering the phone to confirm which address was correct. After arrival I waited an additional 7 minutes before the staff person spoke with the doctor and refused the appointment. Hope he's a better doctor than business person. Based on this experience I would recommend looking elsewhere.

On routine appointments with Dr. Gottfried all my health care needs are reviewed , labs ordered and medication reviewed. Last appointment he ordered a routine colonoscopy. Cancer was detected and removed. I credit Dr. Gottfried ordering my colonoscopy and following preventative protocol for the early detection of colon cancer. Thank you. LN

I just received the results of my annual physical and at 58 I've never been better. Great blood work and an overall clean bill of health. I want to recognize Dr. Gottfried for these great results as he has been working with me on lowering my cholesterol and improving my overall health these past few years. His annual physicals leave no stone unturned (14 vials of blood!). When he informed me the results of my latest physical and told me that I no longer need to be on baby aspirin or Lipitor, it is a credit to his long term treatment and recommendations. This latest physical included a heart scan (coronary calcium scan), and it indicated 0% plaque buildup...talk about great results. Besides being the best MD I've been to, Dr. Gottfried is a kind and caring person with your best interest always on his mind. I can't recommend him enough, especially to all you middle-aged men and seniors.

I meant Dr G when he first came to Vero with his practice he's the first doctor I meant so far that will sit with you and talk as long as you need I have him see my mother now too and she adores him she's an elderly lady and he takes his time with her as well can't beat dr. G keep up the good work. Dr. G and your staff are a one in my book

Dr. Gottfried is a very rare individual. He reminds me of the way doctors were 30 + years ago.He takes his time with you and you can feel he truly cares to help you with his knowledge and good heart.I have never felt so comfortable and confident in any doctor in years. He is a blessing to have in our area. Thanks Doc for all you do for all of us!

Dr. Jeffrey Gottfried was negligent in following up my my elderly mother’s mental status after I expressed concern on her deteriorating condition. Instead he shuttled her off to a neurologist which even my mother stated was a waste of time. He then blamed me for my mother’s deteriorating health after I was the one that bought her status to his attention. I imagine he’s too busy to follow up with relatives who actually care about their loved ones. He should not be treating elderly patients. If I could give him zero stars I would.

RUDE STAFF. ASKED TO SIGN FOR ITEMS NOT RECEIVED. FORCED TO ACCEPT REFERALS CHOSEN BY STAFF. STAFF KNOCKING ON DOOR TO ALERT DR.TO END OF APPOINTMENT. COMPUTER ACCESSED INFORMATION FROM OTHER PHYSICIAN OFFICES WITHOUT MY CONSENT. BREACH OF HIPPA LAW. PATIENT INFO IS ENTERED BY ALL STEWARD PHYSICIANS IN PORTAL WHICH IS ACCESSIBLE TO ALL CARE PROVIDERS. BIG BUSINESS HEALTH CARE! MONEY DRIVEN. THE DOCTORS IN STEWARD ALL GET A PERCENTAGE OF THEIR CONTRIBUTION. JUST HOW IT WORKS. I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT IF I DIDN'T DO AS I WAS INSTRUCTED DR. GOTTFRIED WOULD NOT SEE ME. NO TEAM WORK HERE. NO THANK YOU! DISGUSTING. THERE ARE 1700 PRACTIONERS WHO HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR INFORMATION. I WAS TOLD MINE WAS REMOVED AND FOUND OUT NOT THE CASE. THEY LIE ALSO.

Dr gotfried is awesome!!! Unlike most doctors today - he is thorough, caring and efficient and also a fellow Christian who really cares about his patients and doesn’t rush you in and out. HE IS THE BEST!!!

Dr. Gottfried is a great doctor. I am new to the area and after not finding success, I found Dr. Gottfried. I find Dr. Gottfried to be thoughtful, positive, and a complete professional. He has been aggressive in helping me manage my diabetes and weight. Dr. Gottfried helped me understand that by losing weight and eating healthier, I could really improve my diabetes.

Dr. Gottfried is a wonderful doctor to me because he is the only doctor who makes me feel like he hear me when I tell him my medical problems. .I like the fact that he makes sure I understand how to follow the direction on my prescription without making me feel stupid. If I moved to another state I will not change Doctors . I will drive to fort pierce fl. for my check up, and my medical needs.
