Dr. Jeffrey Jacoby was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and graduated from Sheboygan North. He received a Bachelor's Degree from Marquette University's Biomedical Engineering Department. He then earned a Medical Degree from Loyola University of Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine. Dr. Jacoby finished an internship in General Surgery at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center and subsequently served in the Army Medical Corps in Bosnia, Macedonia, Germany, and Baltimore. Dr. Jacoby completed his training in orthopaedics in Akron, Ohio, and then moved to Denver to complete a spine fellowship. Dr. Jacoby has fellowship training in all spinal disorders including cervical, thoracic, and lumbar disorders. Dr. Jacoby treats advanced degenerative disorders of the spine relating to disc degeneration and facet arthritis. He is very proficient with fusion procedures in the neck and back, but also has training in the newer motion-preserving procedures associated with disc replacements. Dr. Jacobys training …is also extensive in scoliosis correction, kyphoplasty,and trauma care. Dr. Jacoby offers his patients a comprehensive spectrum of conservative and operative treatments to accomplish maximal function and pain control relating to the spine. Dr. Jacoby utilizes NSAIDS, physiotherapy as well as chiropractic care. Patients may be offered selective nerve root blocks, facet blocks, or epidural steroids performed by a team of highly trained anesthesiologists. As a last resort and when appropriate, a surgical solution sometimes needs to be entertained. Dr. Jacoby prides himself in his ability to take the time to listen to his patients and explain fully their spinal disorder and the options for treatment. With the patient's help and full participation, Dr. Jacoby and his patient agree on a plan of attack to best serve the patient's needs. Whenever he finds time, he loves to spend every second of it with his wonderful wife of 14 years and their four terrific children.
