Dr. Jeffrey J Kraft, MD

I see Dr. Krafts partner usually has done a few of my prior surgeries. I see some of the reviews her are negative but, I called the answering service because I was in sever pain and vomiting from gall stones. Dr. Kraft called me back within the hour and in all honesty his demeanor made me feel confident in him just on the phone. He told me to come right in and he would take out my gall bladder (had a ct scan already). His two residents working for him this past Saturday we great. When I finally spoke to Kraft before going into OR he assured me I was going to be fine and trust me I’m skeptical with a lot of doctors, I want a surgeon to be confident and people twist that into arrogance witch is fine too because I don’t want a guy that’s ridged scared. Moral to the story is Dr. Kraft left me in better shape than I was in and I was arguing to go home 12 hours later, I think he’s a good guy and good at his job. Thanks Dr. Kraft!

Unprofessional, came late to appointment, dressed completely unprofessionally. Who would visit an obese surgeon for weight loss surgery? Didn’t exactly give me confidence in his abilities, not to mention peevish and annoying. Definitely would avoid.

He ignored my concerns and made me feel blamed for my mother's medical issue. He laughed at one of my concerns as though I was stupid. Also heard him flirting with a nurse. I don't trust him. Unprofessional.

Dr Kraft is a wonderful patient doctor, compassionate and caring Totally explained the procedure and asked if I understood , came after the surgery to let my partner know how I was I would recommend Dr Kraft to my friends and family Happy that Dr Sciarra recommended him Dr Kraft also gave us a new wonderful intern

Dr. Kraft is a phenomenal surgeon. I became his patient after going to the emergency room for what turned out to be a ruptured intestine and sepsis. I was near death. He saved my life with his incredible skills and knowledge. I feel very blessed that he was on call when this happened. I cannot say enough about his genuine care for his patients. I have never felt such appreciation for a doctor. He is truly the best.

Simply put, Dr. Kraft saved my mother’s life. I brought my mother into the emergency department one night with clear signs of sepsis. Upon reading her CT abdomen the emergency department physician noted that she had a perforated bowel, and required emergency surgery. I must note that my mother has an extensive gastrointestinal surgical history, and I was truly afraid she would not be able to undergo the procedure she required. I am so very grateful that Dr. Kraft was on call. She was on the table in less than an hour, and her initial surgery was quite a number of hours. When Dr. Kraft came to speak to my father and I after the surgery it was clear that he did not take the easy route, and truly did all he felt was necessary to save my mother. Not one night was spent in the Intensive Care Unit, and she was home in less than one week. The surgery did leave her with a colostomy, which he was able to reverse. This surgeon not only saved her body, but gave her peace of mind with her… reversal. He a gifted surgeon with impeccable bedside manor – quite an anomaly in my experience. He made my mother feel calm and comfortable at one of the most frightening periods of her life. As a critical care nurse I work alongside physicians and surgeons most days, and I have rarely experienced a surgeon as gifted in technique and bedside manner as Dr. Kraft. My family and I are grateful that he gifted my mother with a longer life, and so very fortunate that he was the surgeon on call. Highly recommend.

Whiny and over-confident with nothing to back it up. Walked into my room on the weekend in jeans and a t-shirt holding his Starbucks coffee. Very unprofessional. Definitely recommend finding another surgeon if possible
