This is the fifth specialist I have been to trying to get a diagnosis of my 25 or so symptom after a tick bite twelve years ago. He listened, asked questions and ordered tests that may give us some answers.

I saw him twice, with concerns about a Chiari Malformation. He informed me that even though my brain stuck out of my skull 4 mm, it was not a Chiari malformation, and it wasn't causing my pain and my problems. He tried to put me on migraine meds, which my insurance denied. When I went back, he decided before I was even done explaining things that I had rebound headaches. He talked down to me, treated me like I was stupid for even thinking I had Chiari (which a neurosurgeon a few months later told me I had a Chiari malformation and I was operated on months later). I felt like he decided what I had without listening to me, he didn't seem to know what he was talking about, but appeared to think he knew everything.

Upon relocating, I made an appointment with this doctor based on his credentials. Having had a neurological diagnosis for THREE years (and being on disability for the same)... At my first visit, I felt his questioning was combative, and at one point, he actually "snickered" to my face; I should have walked out right then! In the end, he totally discredited my prior diagnosis (among other things that I will not go into).

Fine for basic care (migraines etc...). I would not go to him with any rare condition. Another doctor within his own clinic could not get him to answer questions needed in a timely manner. Even the other doctor was frustrated. Nice nurses.

He ordered 3 MRI'son my spine and couldn't open them on his computer because he didn't have java on his computer. Then he had his nurse tell me he didn't really even need to look at my MRI's. At $750 each I will be paying off for a long time. No one is looking at them. He's left me in a lurch. I have never heard of this.
