I felt like me being there disrupted his day.

I have been a patient of Dr. Schachne for years, as have numerous members of my family. Not only is his office staff rude, unorganized and uncaring, but he is truly a cold and condescending individual. Every time I have had an appointment at his office, I have waited OVER AN HOUR because his front desk staff “forgets” to check me in. I am then met by a doctor who spends the entirety of the appointment talking down to me, dismissing any and all issues I bring up regarding my skin, and rushing me out the door. Each and every appointment with him has been incredibly unpleasant, and upon speaking to friends who have also seen him, it is clear that that is the general consensus making many of his patients. My father is a dentist who has headed his own practice for years, I understand how medical offices work, and Dr. Schachne’s office is an absolute disgrace. Do not visit here if you are hoping to get help from someone who actually cares about their patients.

He's with Mt. Kisco Medical Group and it's impossible to get an appointment that isn't 3-4 weeks out. He's OK, but the group is a nightmare. And they're getting monopoly on doctors in my area so it's very hard to find someone not part of the group. There should be a law against that!

Skin cancer patient. Explained that I had concerns about 3 spots. In response he stated "How did you get in here?" Rushed through my exam. Took a biopsy of a spot I suspected while muttering "it's just a pimple". Lab came back as pre-cancerous . MKMG changed him. Will never go back.

Really disappointed with my visit with Dr. Schachne. Would not recommend.

This is truly a very well mannered, friendly, physician with years of experience. His bedside manner is so refreshing as well as his expertise. Dr Schachne makes you feel comfortable and remembers you when you arrive for a visit. The conversations are always friendly and although a dry sense of humor, quite funny. I recommend this physician for all you skin care needs. He now has a PA on board and all office staff are quite courteous. Great physician, great office, great service all around. You can't go wrong..

After my initial visit he pushed me onto his physicians assistant, had no more interaction with me. They had no clue what my problem was (skin condition). Prescribed vitamins, which were a waste of time. Find another doctor.
