After a freak accident, I required tib/fib surgery. 2 days after surgery my at-home care nurse said these were some of the best scars she had ever seen. He is an excellent surgeon, great hands, and is funny! He'll help you get back to normal. I am 7 weeks post-op and while I'm still on crutches, I am on my way to a full recovery. I can't thank Dr. Schildhorn enough.

Visiting Dr. Schieldhorn was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had visiting a health care doctor! His diagnosis and recommendations were clear and he answered all questions I had in detail. Dr. Schildhorn repaired my knee. He had the time to professionally explain to me everything connected with my procedure before and after surgery and his office staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Tamika. I highly recommend Dr. Schildhorn for any orthopedic procedures.

NY Bone and Joint Specialists is a rip-off. I saw Dr Schildhorn, who took a look at my broken arm and the x-rays (done elsewhere; they took none) and sent me to an experienced hand surgeon. He took the existing temporary split off, reapplied another temporary one knowing that I was going to the surgeon immediately. He didn't even give me a new sling! The fee was $3,000. (The hand surgeon charged $450 for the same thing less than an hour later). I was outraged. Fortunately, I have insurance but even the insurance company recommended I report the outlandish 'billed amount'. The insurance company paid a fraction, but an uninsured person would be liable for this outrageous sum. NY Bone and Joint Specialists may say it specializes in bone and joint issues, but I say its best expertise is seeking to rip-off those it treats.

dr schildhorn is some one very special to me he has been helping me for the last year and i could not ask for a better doctor .he understands my problems and tries to help me and he does.iam thankful for this doctor couldnt ask for a beter doctor.
