Friendliness and efficiency. Those two words truly exemplify the atmosphere at Advanced Orthopaedic Associates. The quality of care personally received has been beyond reproach. Having had many encounters through the years with PAs in many medical settings, I would like to state unequivocally that Tom Swan, PA stands out above all. The one disappointment has been that Dr Shepherd made an appearance but once, and that was the rather brief encounter at the initial consultation prior to surgery. That is a small concern that certainly does not overshadow the overall positive experience.

Great visit with PA Tom Swan for steroid shots! Tom is very knowledgeable and finds the exact location for my injection! Advised me on exercises to help with bursitis .I would highly recommend Dr Shepard & PA Tom Swan!

Dr Shepherd did a great job on my new knee! Explained everything easily and the staff was always easy to get hold of later for questions which I really appreciated!! Everything went smoothly and now I’m doing my second knee! Everyone I talked to said he is the Best!

It was one of the better surgical experiences I have had. My right knee was replaced and is healing on schedule. If I have the other knee replaced, I will ask for the team of Dr Shepherd and Tom Swan to take care of me.

Probably the best surgical experience I could have imagined. I am at six weeks after hip replacement and couldn't be more pleased with Dr. Shepherd, nurses, the PA and timely responses. I am almost 100%. No pain.

Dr. Shepherd took his time talking with me about replacing my right knee! and it went just as he explained. It’s obvious he loves his job, he will joke with his patients as he suspects we are all of older age & this is why I chose him to do my right knee!!
