Jeffrey B. Thompson, MD

I have been with Dr. Thompson for about 20 years. He is pleasant, kind, very caring, and willing to spend time with you to discuss any problem. I had my babies before I met him, but he has performed surgery on me (he brought candy to his surgical nurses). I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Thompson is an excellent doctor! I've never had a doctor that spent so much time answering questions and making sure that I was well informed and comfortable with comfortable with a course of treatment. I don't have to advocate for myself because he's always shown that he's considering every option/possibility and I completely trust him. He's delivered 3 of my babies and I drive almost 30 minutes to see him... I would drive even further if I had to. I don't think you can find a better OB in the area than Dr. Thompson!

I feel very comfortable with him. He is very attentive and sincere.

What is most memorable is that the nurse practitioner is a flake and couldn't answer a simple question. She just kept saying things like "don't worry about it, it's not important". Well, it's about me and it is important to me. She is very unprofessional and this made her seem incompetent.

I've noticed that the staff picks and chooses who they want to be nice to. My visit a couple of months back wasn't very pleasant. I came with someone to their visit and she was treated with courtesy, it's possible they don't know how to deal with adults or perhaps are envious of people who are intelligent enough to be able to retire before age 50. When I walked in for my appointment one looked over her shoulder and said to another "____, do you have a minute? This one looks like she's going to need help". *referring to the little orange tablets they had at the time. Realizing that these gals didn't have much to work with "up stairs" I didn't bother telling them that computer programing was a hobby. That takes us to the Nurse practioner... I asked a simple medical question and the response she gave me was "it's not important, don't worry about it..." NOT professional and if something is important to a patient, it's important period.. I can't give a review on the Doctor since I haven't… been able to see him but as far as the staff and the practioner...uh, no. I still don't have any answers. I'm not sure where the Doctor found her but he needs to send her back. The gals up front, Sanford Brown maybe and that's pretty sad.

Staff is junior college at best. Shuffled off to nurse practitioner who is completely incompetent.

Dr Tompson is always a 3hr tour, but he is worth the wait, he take prego patients a bit faster, as he should!! He is remarkable in his balance of skills and bedside manor, don't get me wrong, I have seen him get into a nurses Azz big time before but always kind and patient with me, exceptional listener, very sympathetic, spends a lot of time and always wishes he could do more, always there if you need anything, delivered my daughter before we knew I had EDS and closely monitored anything out of ordinary with my pregnancy and he is great with giving you options for treatment of female issues and understands how religion or personal prefs can effect decisions. All around awesome doctor to be trusted and has a great staff! Might take 15 min on hold to make the appt but telling you, it's worth it!!

No matter how busy, Dr. Thompson makes time for his patients, and is a gentle spirit. Refreshing to have a physician that really cares. He is top-notch!

The most amazing Dr. ever. he is my doctor my sister s doctor and my mothers doctor. he delivered and cared for me with my son and was amazing . Only Dr i would ever recommend.!! and gist staff is amazing as well.
