I went in for horrible, debilitating period pain, excessive bleeding, and crazy back pain. I informed her that there is a history of severe endometriosis in my family. She ordered one ultrasound and endometrial biopsy (with no local anesthesia). She stated that if I was uninterested in fertility, I should just take birth control, and there is nothing else she can do for me. She was not interested in treating my symptoms. I got a second opinion. I was diagnosed with stage 4 deep infiltrating endometriosis, several uterine fibroids (biggest measuring 12cm multilobulated), a 7cm teratoma in my left ovary, scar tissue and adhesions fusing all the organs in my pelvic region together. OBGYNs who are only interested in treating people’s pain only as long as it affects fertility need to reevaluate why they became doctors.

Dr. Jennifer Dizon (Israel) is great! She is so gentle in her touch and approach - it is the most comfortable check-up I have ever had! She is amazing. If I have questions and email her she gets right back to me... she has always been on top of it - for my health.
