Dr. Jennifer Lang

I used to love Dr. Lang. I thought I found a doctor that actually cared about my issues and I didn't feel like I was just another case. She was inquisitive and concerned and spent adequate time with me during appointments. But then she moved to the Beverly Hills Cancer Institute and everything changed. She started charging my insurance 270% more than what she used to. That part doesn't really affect me since my co-pay stayed the same...but it's just the principle. I used to love her staff but the ones here are bullies if you question their accounting and trying to reach her patient coordinator is nearly impossible. She's always booked but when I do get in to see her, the wait time is astronomical and she seems rushed and cold now. No follow ups, rushed email responses, and no time for her patients. Looks like she's just become another Beverly Hills doc whose only concern is to charge insurance companies as much as she. Very sad I'll have to move on.

After three doctors not only misdiagnosing, but missing totally, a vulva lesion that then proved to be pre-cancerous, I was referred to Jennifer by someone in NY. I was amazed that she sat and talked with me and asked appropriate questions about my history and then immediately took care of me. Her follow up is amazing. I have never had a doctor email me. She is thorough and caring and capable and caring.

After being misdiagnosed with having an aggressive form of uterine cancer I was referred to Dr. Lang. Her expertise and inquiring mind led her to go well beyond the norm for my treatment. She performed a complete hysterectomy with such skill that I am basically completely recovered after 2 weeks. After my tissues were examined by a tumor board and determined to be a stage 1 cancer that was found very early and had not embedded into my uterus she called for a third opinion by a top gynopathologist to evaluate the tissues again, just to make sure the second diagnosis was correct. Her thoroughness, bedside manner, direct answers and kind heart make me so grateful to have her as my doctor. I highly recommend her with no reservations and will refer her to anyone worthy of her medical expertise. As an added bonus, her office staff is efficient and caring as well.

Dr. Lang spent so much time with me during my office visits, she allowed me to email her and responded quickly and called me hours after she delivered her baby to give me the results of my LEEP procedure. You couldn't ask for a better bedside manner. She feels like a contemporary with the knowledge and experience of a seasoned old timer, and the up to date knowledge and modern thinking to know about all the latest science. She is also very conservative, meaning she was willing to watch my hpv for a while before we decided the LEEP was the best approach. I really appreciate her thoroughness and the time she has spent talking to me and explaining my condition and what I can do to take charge of my health. I'm indebted to Dr. Lang.

Dr Lang is truly one of the best doctors I have ever had. She really takes the time with her patients and made the entire experience a very positive one. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a great gyn!
