Dr. Jennifer Marie Lyon, DO

I have been seeing Dr. Lyon for about 15 years...after refusing to see any doctor for 10 years. One of the first things that she did on my first examination was to check my carotid arteries. I was impressed. Very smart thing to do. She has listened and worked with me on multiple autoimmune issues. Was very patient when I was reluctant to add certain medications. She is an expert with a quick diagnosis with muscular/ligament/tendon problems by observing a few movements. Dr. Lyon has been instrumental in working with me to reduce catastrophic lab results. She works with my other providers such as ophthalmologists to coordinate care. And we have finally reached lab results that please us. If you want a doctor who will not discount what you say and will stand by your side, nudging you into better health, choose Dr. Lyon.

No matter what my visit was about, she made the entire appointment about my weight. The very first appointment, when my BMI was just over 25. Of you aren't in perfect shape, don't have any mental health disorders (anxiety etc.), or aren't gluten free, don't waste your time.

Dr. Lyon is a wonderful physician. 4 years ago I was in and out of Dr's and emergency, felt like I was dying. In 1 visit she had me getting blood work and within 24 hrs had a diagnosis. Autoimmune condition. She is a high demand Dr and takes her time with every patient. There is always a waiting period because of her time spent with each patient. My family recently moved I will make the drive to keep her as my Dr.

This woman has a very, very bad habit with assumptions. I have never walked out of an appointment in years before seeing this woman. I should have taken the advice of 3 other friends that also had negative experiences with her.

This Dr. seemed overwhelmed and unprofessional. I was presented with at least 10 pages of paperwork which I did not sign for her to become my Dr.. I have a large amount of history but she did not bother to consult it, she made a very strange and seemingly flaberghasted diagnosis within the space of 10 minutes, after taking my vitals. STRANGE

DR. Lyons, awesome doctor, love her straight forward approach, felt like she took her time with me. Very great experience

This Doctor tried to inform me that it is quite normal for a 10 year old to cough so hard and so often that she vomits every 10 minutes because of the force. Her advice to me when I asked how I was supposed to stop the cough so she could sleep was "Give her some benadryl, it might help"
