Dr. Jennifer K. Mcdonald, DO

I have been working with Dr. McDonald for a few months with my first pregnancy. She has been open and available for any questions that my husband or myself has. I will be relocating so unfortunately I will have to find someone new, but the time that I had with her really helped.

Dr.McDonald performed a simple, outpatient surgery on my teenage daughter. On the way home from St.Louis Women's Surgery Center my daughter started bleeding profusely from 2 bad stitches. Surgery Center said she couldn't come back. Then called Dr. McDonald's office, St.Louis Women's Healthcare Group who said they couldn't see her for 2hrs.. So took her to the ER to get those 2 stitches corrected to stop the bleeding. Called McDonald's office and lead nurse didn't seem to care, transferreed me to office manager voicemail who never returned my call. I wanted to at least ask to be reimbursed for the ER bill since she botched the surgery.

Dr. Mcdonald has delivered all of my children. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking and obgyn. She takes her time and makes sure to answer any questions you ask. She is the most compassionate Doctor I have ever had the please of meeting. I cannot say enough good things about her.

I expect my Ob-gyns to make me feel comfortable and she does.

Dr. McDonald is the most amazing, caring, and compassionate doctor tho can find I have been a patient of hers for 7 years and she has delivered 3 of my children, I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

My first visit with Dr McDonald had me very angry that I didn't get up within the first few minutes and storm out, she interrupted me everytime she asked a question and made me feel like a child. Never have a met such a rude and abusive doctor. I thought I was being overly sensitive but after reading some of the other reviews, I see my opinion is shared by many. Don't waste her time in seeing her unless you have a harsh and abusive nature, might work out well if that's the case.

She really took time with me, compassionate, caring and helpful with my issues.

never scheduled yearly appt

I have been seeing Dr. McDonald for a few years now and I love her. I only wish I met her before having my children! She is very patient and never rushes your appointment and is generally on time. She makes sure to answer all of your questions and makes sure you dont leave without being comfortable with what has been discussed. I will continue going to her as long as she is in practice.

I thought Dr. McDonald was great. Very calm, patient and my delivery was amazing because of her mannerisms. She's recently moved offices and the new office and staff are amazing. Appointments are much easier and right in the Missouri Baptist hospital. They do bloodwork in the office...no going to quest diagnostics. They also have ultrasounds there daily vs her old office the tech was only there once a week I believe. She worked very well with the doula I hired for our sons birth!
