The GOOD: My daughter had a procedure done by Dr Silc. Her teeth came out Beautiful. Gave her an amazing and confident smile and eliminated any gum issues that she may have been susceptible to. Now the BAD: The doctors office staff, per my requests, prior to the procedure never contacted my insurance provider before the procedure and I assumed that this was standard practice. Afterwards, I was told that they are not responsible for a contacting the insurance company, although my insurance company contacted them because I had asked them to as well, but they were to busy, yes too busy, to pre-qualify/talk to the insurance company about the procedure and never returned the phone call when they were asked by my insurance carrier. Please don't assume. They dropped the ball and did not care and threaten to take me to collections, they never took responsible for mis handling this unfortunate situation. For that reason I am rating them low. The UGLY I was told by my insurance company that… this procedure would be covered, but they later denied it, because a pre-qualification was not completed and they (Dentist office staff)appeared to have mis-coded the original procedure and the insurance company later denied the claim. We had another Periodontics said it would or should be covered procedure. A VERY Costly mistake I might add. FYI I have a complaint into the insurance commissioners office. I was told by my Insurance carrier on several occasions on a recorded line that the procedure would be covered and also on a recorded line that the claim was approved and being PAID. After being told that and wanted the proof for my support, they cannot retrieve the recording now. Thank you for letting me express my disappointment.

I’ve been attending the Dr Silc office since she was with Dr Crossetti. The staff and services are terrific-kind, courteous and professional. I have had work done by Dr Silc and she is wonderful. My gums look great and continue to do so after a few years. I highly recommend Dr Silc for periodontal care.

I am a dental hygienist and select Dr. Silc and her team to provide expert periodontal care to my patients, my family and my friends. This team and location has "it all"! I asked to observe a surgery and was welcomed with open arms. Nothing like this top notch office!
