Dr. Jennifer Lynne Tirino, MD

I went to Dr. Tirino since she was one of the few ENTs covered by my insurance. It took me 3 months to get an appointment and once I finally got in to have a hearing test and see the doctor she met with me for 10 minutes and told me there was nothing she could do for me other than rule out a brain tumor. I had an MRI done but unfortunately Dr. Tirino had to cancel my follow up appointment with her due to a surgery. I asked if someone could relay the results of my MRI since she seemed too busy to even fit me in. After leaving numerous messages trying to get my MRI results (and find out if I had a brain tumor) I was finally given a call back 5 weeks later. There is something seriously wrong with this service level. I do not recommend this office.

Dr. Torino's front office are friendly, polite, and punctual, but that's where the good news ends. I have seen Dr. Torino every three months for the past year for debridement of my mastoid cavities. I had a radical mastoidectomy 25 years ago, so I am very aware of what to expect and I can tell you, Dr. Torino has NEVER properly debrided my mastoid cavities. To make matters worse, I believe she damaged my stapes more than it had previously been damaged. I finally saw another doctor who said my mastoids were a mess. He kept saying, "oh my god" and "oh wow." In addition, Dr. Torino not only charged me for a procedure she never did, she charged me for two procedures that can't be charged on the same visit according to Medicare and CMS guidelines. When I called the office manager it took multiple calls to finally get her to call me back. She was rude, but said she would look into the charges and call me back. That never happened. I have reported this doctor and her office to the Ga.… Consumer Protection Office as well as to my insurance company. I would never recommend Dr. Torino.

Dr. Tirino performed a cochlear implant surgery on me. She did not follow the manufacturer recommendations and did not listen to me when I repeatedly tried to give feedback that something was wrong. Eventually, 3 years later, another otologist discovered that she did not insert an implant correctly. I had a revision surgery with another surgeon and it was discovered that my ear had extensive damage as a result of her faulty insertion and placement. I strongly recommend avoiding this clinician and seeking somebody that listens to their patients, takes their feedback seriously, and follows the manufacturer guidelines for how the implants should be inserted. She didn't.

Oh, Dr. Tirino you used to be such a caring doctor, what happened? I started seeing Dr. Tirino in 2013 after I was diagnosed with Menieres Disease and I thought she was the most caring and genuine doctor. But after seeing her every 3-6 months since something has changed. She became an uncaring accusing doctor. All she wanted me to do was go to therapy, I don't think she really knows what its like to be deaf in one ear, have constant non stop tinnitus and fullness in your ear. She acts like she cares but I am not sure after my last visit. All she talked about was how much medicine I was taking, mind you I had not changed the dosage, I was still taking the same amount of medicine but in her mind I really think she thought I was an addict. She said she was not "accusing me of being an addict" but one can tell when someone is not being truthful. She even had the nerve to tell me that she didn't think I was out on the street selling the medication. SAY WHAT! I don't believe I have… ever had a doctor say anything like that to me. As far as I am concerned please be careful when you become a patient of Dr. Tirino, depending on the day she can go from nice to hateful in 10 seconds. One visit she would tell me one thing and the next visit she would tell me something entirely different. Meniere's disease is a horrible disease and no one deserves to not be treated with respect and dignity by a doctor. Good luck to everyone, just beware of Dr. Jennifer Tirino.

Takes all the time that is needed to explain possible conditions and options that would be available. Very pleasant!

If you want an ENT/Surgeon who is superior to all the rest, you have found her. Dr Tirino is an excellent physician but also listens, diagnoses, treats and educates you to the fullest. Her office is always busy but the staff does a great job and her nurse is very good about returning calls and communicating for Dr Tirino. I trust her completely and found her to be the most calming influence of any doctor on my team at a very stressful time.

My son and I have had ear surgeries done by Dr. Tirino. She is very knowledgeable and attentive to detail. I am recommending her to my friends with complete confidence.

Best experience I have ever had with a doctor. Dr. Tirino cares and takes the time to explain diagnosis and treatments. If you want the best look no farther.

Dr Torino removed Cholestestomas from my eardrum and rebuilt the eardrum as well. She made the surgery so easy for me. I was very frightened when finding out I needed surgery. She made sure I felt comfortable and understood what the surgery involved. She is very caring, sincere and professional. I will definitely tell everyone about how fabulous she is. Thank you Dr. Torino.

Never returns calls. I have waited almost a month and none of my calls are returned. Well, one of them was after a two week wait. Then it was just another message taker that wanted to take another message and promised a call in two days. To date, I have never gotten that call back. I really needed to speak with the Docs assistant before a procedure was done. But, I guess no one cares enough about the patients. Maybe it's because my insurance doesn't reimburse at a high enough percentage. Whatever the reason, I do not feel that this Doc and her staff really care that much about the patients.
