Dr. Jens Christian Carlsen, DO

Haven't seen the doctor yet. Have been waiting for 1 1/2 hours. The receptionist said he was working in the hospital. May be looking for another urologist.

Extremely happy with Dr Carlson and his staff. Sabrina and Christina were super helpful in my husbands time of need. Dr Carlson has done a great job. We would highly recommend him. Thank you

If I could I would give a lower rating. Follow up after a surgical procedure lasted approximately 3 minutes. I told him I had a lot of pain, and there was blood in my urine. He told me that was normal, and sent me on my way. I guess his bank account is more important to him than his patients.

waited 15 minutes prior to check-in. Was then taken to an examination room where I sat for 40 minutes prior to actually seeing Dr. Carlsen. He told me to drop my pants and bend over, then checked checked my prostate. Fortunately it was ok. He was in the room no more than 4 minutes and left to see the next patient. Not a bad gig for my $40 copay + whatever my insurance paid him.

I’m having a hard time coming up with something positive. He has a nice smile. He and his staff suck at everything basically. I would NOT recommend unless you are desperate.

This “doctor” is unprofessional, has a horrific bedside manner, and is useless. When he failed to fix the problem he made it out to be my fault.

Disrespectful, arrogant a verbally abusive to my elderly husband. I had to help husband off the exam table because he was going to fall. Jerk just sat there and said I have a bad back. Do you think I'm going to hurt myself when I pleaded with him to help. Do not subject yourself to his humiliation. BTW a urologist's office with a non-operational restroom? I had to give a star to give this review to warn anyone who thinks they are going to a compassionate professional. Such a very bad experience. Should have paid more attention to all the other bad reviews. We don't have too many doctor choices in our area and hoped it would turn out okay. So wrong! Beware!

To have an 80 year old drive over 20 miles 1 way only to be turned away before the actual appointment time because he didn't come in early(wasnt asked to) to fill out paperwork is beyond ridiculous!!!! Then hung up on him without offering to reschedule! He is in severe pain from surgery and travel is not easy!!!! Yet another Dr that is only after a paycheck instead of the health and well being of the patient!

BEWARE! tells you one thing and does another in your file.lies to your face and talks down to you like you're a child.cold and un-friendly.

I informed this Dr., the medicine he had prescribed me caused a severe reaction; I went on to let him know I had researched the medication BACTRIM online; many studies supported the reaction I described to him. His response was, "Yeah, well, there are Aliens and Spaceships online." A total Disregard for what I experienced and learned during my research on BACTRIM side effects. If you want to put your life in the hands of someone like this, I wish you well. Use Caution!
