Just recently flew from Oregon to attend Dr Simmons' office in the Woodlands. There was considerable complexity facing the team to have to deal with a pain in the neck like me. Everyone stepped up to the plate, including Doctors, Nursing staff, Tech staff, and Front Desk Folks....(Thanks Said, Ali, Tameca, et al.....) Being a Sleep Apnea, TMJ, Dental full mouth rebuild, (have splint, will travel) medical (complexities) and issues case, my deep studies required thorough attention to detail. This team got the challenging job done in a short 2 nights+ followup. PLEASE NOTE: I actually stayed over for an hour plus after Said finally got me dialed in (at last) with Dr Simmons' help. Mary Burns (one of America's best overall trained dental docs) told me I would be really dumb if I didn't travel to Texas and see Jarold. So I had to go... Glad I did... I would avoid at all costs

So far I’ve found this staff to be excellent. There is a lot of data to gather. I’ve had other sleep doctors and tests who were not nearly as thorough.

I have been treated by Dr. Simmons for 5years now, and not every staff member has been perfect, but almost every person I've dealt with in any way has been terrific. Dr. Simmons worked for 12 months identifying and excluding possible causes of my health issues. It took time, but I had been seeing other doctors for over 10 years, so finding the causes of my issues was life-saving. His schedule sometimes runs behind, but that's because he works with people. People run late, need more time, explanation, or more support and compassion than others, and Dr. Simmons and his staff support their patients in multiple ways. His nurse practitioners work very closely with him. The nurses are usually amazing. The office staff remembers my name and face each time. The sleep study staff, although it has changed some over the years, is always wonderful and compassionate. I think they move their best into that department. The doctor, nurse practitioner, and staff have had to fight with my insurance… companies as I've had to change companies numerous times. The companies routinely deny coverage of procedures and medications, but Dr. Simmons and his staff always fight through each level of denying departments of the insurance company to get what I need. I would (and sometimes have) referred my husband, mother, children, friends, and grandchildren to this practice.

I have been a patient of Dr. Simmons since 1999. My epilepsy was as a result of a CBI. He has been an exceptional doctor in diagnosing my epilepsy and helping me learn how to maintain a normal life. He treated me as a person and has gone above and beyond with my treatment. As my body and situation changes, he has search for the latest treatments that fit my situation and not as a guessing game. I highly recommend Dr. Simmons to anyone who needs accurate diagnosis and a lifelong accurate treatment.

Dr. Simmons is such a great and efficient Doctor.
