Dr. Jeremy Scott Smith

I was recommended to Dr. Smith by some other great doctors that I was visiting at OSI. It took a little longer to get an appointment with Dr. Smith, but I had visits with two other doctors in the same facility for a shorter waiting period and they were not particularly good. Very quickly after my MRI, he had a clear idea of what my problem was in my neck which was related to two discs in my cervical spine. He referred me to a fantastic neurologist whom could be covered by my insurance, which is not easy with Blue Shield, as he feared I had a damaged nerve in the same area. He was right about that as well. Now, this may seem fairly normal that a doctor is capable of identifying your problems, but what is unfortunate in today medical world, because of how the system works, sometimes they force you to make additional test, analysis and other unnecessary things even if they know it is not really necessary. In my case, he went straight to the solution which was to have surgery that would… eliminate all of my pain in one single procedure without wasting any additional of my time and money. In two weeks it was done and the pain is gone. After surgery he followed up calling me personally and made sure I was recovering. Great doctor, very friendly and professional.

Dr. Smith is one of the best doctors that I have seen in a long time. He makes sure that you understand what procedures that need to be done. He also makes sure that he gets any tests done to help him with you problem.

Office staff uncaring. Promises go unkept, the staff I dealt with will tell you anything to simply make you go away. Not sure if these people are understaffed/overworked or simply unqualified to hold these positions. They feign friendliness, but simply do not care.... too bad, because I believe Dr. Smith to be a good doctor.

Dr. Smith is a caring and competent surgeon. He thoroughly answered all of my questions prior to surgery and followed up with me closely after the operation, promptly addressing any concerns I had. Outstanding doctor and passionate about what he does. Best of all, my pain is gone and I have my life back. Thank you Dr. Smith!
