Dr. Jerome V Benz JR., DO

I came to my mother's appointment to see this doctor after a referral for an exam before cataract surgery. I was especially impressed at how the doctor conducted his exam. He was very thorough and explained things in a manner that I knew she understood. I can honestly say we left that room with not a single question or reservation regarding the surgery. he offered many different choices as far as lenses and implants. If I recall, only one of them was covered by the insurance. He did recommend to go with an upgraded lens that would help my mother get out of glasses and go about her normal daily life and not need them any more. He wasn't pushy and we didn't feel like we would be making a wrong decision by not getting the most expensive one. I wish more doctors would take a note as they can be very pushy when it comes to money. He seemed to understand and was very compassionate towards her financial situation. I was very pleased by the way she was treated.

Dr. Benz was extremely professional, he explained treatment options and I felt like he spent adequate time in the room with me. The experience with the technician was a very very good one, the best I've ever had. She was very nice and very informative and sympathetic and very professional. I have already recommended this place to family and friends.

I had my first thorough eye examination and feels great to know every testing that was done to my eyes. I am very satisfied with my visit.

I had cataract surgery by Dr.Benz. He is very knowledgeable and professional. Having cataract surgery was the best thing that I have ever done. My vision is 20/20 without glasses. I feel great.
