Can't reach the office. When you do (In person) doc will see you for literally 10 seconds. No follow up. No referral and the staff is just sorry... waiting for the doctor.

We first met Dr Polterock in San Diego n 2000 after a few visits to urgent care due to a broken vessel near the eye that was creating massive nose bleeding. My poor mother had been in the urgent care unit twice, her nose was "packed" which was very painful, without the nose bleed stopping. Dr Polterock came around with a group of students from UCSD Medical Center and softly told the students that no patient should suffer for three days with this condition. He explained in detail what the procedure would entail and assured us that everything would be alright. The next day he performed a laser procedure that ended the nose bleed. That was not my last consultation with Dr Polterock. In 2003 I noticed a lump on my neck. He performed a biopsy and determined it was a benign tumor. Unfortunately, medication didn't work so surgery was the only option. I was afraid of a scar so visible, but Dr Polterock's credentials and experience made me feel confident that surgery would be a success. Not… only I didn't experience any pain post-surgery, but after only a few weeks the scar was barely noticeable. In 2005, he recommended an IPL series to take care of dark spots/melasma which were extremely successful in erasing the dark spots, rosacea, age spots and evening my skin tone. The last cosmetic procedure he performed was a lip enhancement that went extremely well. 10 years later both my skin and lips look great, and can't even find the scar on my neck. Absolutely terrible bedside manner. Creepy and very inappropriate questions and comments. Do NOT go to this doctor spare yourself!

Very pleased with my new ENT Dr

I happened to see his name on an office door in Redlands back in 1979 and asked to see him, as he lived next door to me in Chicago when we were both in Brentano School. Nothing short of miraculous I thought but he treated me as not being very worthy to talk to, even though I always remembered his comforting me when we were both around 5 years old and my dad had just died of a heart attack in 1944. When I told him I lived in Hesperia he snorted at the thought of my living in such a place far below his station. Too bad; I thought it was miraculous to just run into him after 35 years.

My daughter, 9yrs old, was having trouble breathing at night & constantly getting colds. We took her to see Dr. Polterock & within 5 minutes said her tonsils & adnoids needed to be removed. We scheduled the surgery, had it done & 5 days later my daughter was being rushed by ambulance to the emergency room. She vomiting blood that had been dripping down her throat from the first sugery not being performed right. When the doctor arrived he didn't seem at all concerned with her well being. Now I.m being sued by the hospital where the second surgery was performed for $10,000! His mistakes put us there not ours!
