Dr. Jesanna Carolan Cooper, MD

I had a positive pelvic exam visit at first with Dr. Cooper, as she was calm and made me feel comfortable during the pelvic exam. I really appreciated working with her in person, and her emphasis on natural care when possible was also exciting. However, I had a bump on my pelvic area I asked her to look at, and she said it was a minor ingrown hair and did not seem to take my seriously when I described the discomfort I was experiencing. Later, my problem worsened and spread. I called the office and they were unprofessional in getting back to me when I asked questions. The follow-up and office organization seemed lacking. I was pleased with Dr. Cooper's demeanor, but disappointed with how she and the office staff did not seem to take my concerns seriously. My problem worsened and I did not feel listened to as a patient.

Outstanding and would not hesitate to recommend.

I couldn't have asked for a better birth experience. She's fantastic.

She is an excellent doctor and very friendly and caring. She is concerned about your wellbeing in all areas of your life. She will refer you to another doctor if you have a specialized problem that she can not handle. She has refered me to a dermatologist in Birmingham and has refered some patients to general doctor. I wish she was a general doctor. I am very pleased with the care I receive from Doctor Cooper.

I only wish she was my primary doctor.she is awesome kept her cool in a difficult birth.
