I went this so called doctor.done the surgery as time went on my pain did not go away he asked me if I would do therapy were his office is I agreed I was still having problems and wanted me to start in weigh department my insurance would not pay so he said I could do it at home I would call his office in park ridge and talk to his people told them when i did my exercise my muscles would titin.up and pain his office told me that was normal so I kept trying and nothing changed and when I seen him again it told him that I was still having problems with my muscles and I seen a therapy s walk bye I raised my.head and my eye sight got blurid he said I don't know about muscles you need to go back to work and he asked what weight limit I wanted to be released on I went back later and the other doctor in his office and he said he could refer me to doctor king and still to this date I still. Have pain in my back and can hardly walk Good Luke to you if you go to this doctor he is judge and jury.

This was a company mandated appt. I flew from another state for his opinion. My appt was at 1115. I wasnt seen until 1150. Once in the exam room I was told to change into hospital shorts for my back examination. I was glad I had someone with me That didnt sound right but I complied. Dr. Butler didnt knock to see if I was ready. He flung the door wide open. I had two MRIs for him to review. I had a 3 doctor review them prior to my arrival. I have 5 bulging disc, pinched ligaments between the Forman in several locations and sciatica. Dr Butler looked at my MRI said it was abnormal excellent. What?? I pointed to the bulging disc in the imagery and asked what they were he told me "sometimes when you exhale during and MRI this is what it will look like". His recommendation was that I discontinue Physical Therapy and all other recovery plans. He said if I were his patient he would prescribe an anti-inflammatory and have me rest til it is better. I am not a medical professional but that… sounds....stupid. As well as the comment after review of my imagery. I hope my company sees thru Dr Butlers recommended treatment and notes how this was a waste of resources.

Worst IME don’t go to him

Gives false Ime reports to the insurance companies. Who in there right mind could write a false reports to make music to the insurance companies ears. Your credibility sucks. See me for 3 min and say there is nothing wrong. Makes you look like fool dr Butler.

This is the worst IEM doctor there is!!! I guess company’s pays him well to say nothing is the Matter with you...If you get sent here please ask for another opinion this whole place is just TERRIBLE also after the examination I was told to put my clothes back on and he walks back in the room!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN

I called to make an appointment and got passed around 3 times. i finally called back and the office manager answered. I had 2 surgerys with dr butler but I will never go back. he doesnt have an assistant anymore. i had to deal with Lisa and she is the worst. I went to Rush and they treat me better.

I was sent here by my insurance company for an IME. It was so horribly done, the insurance company is actually paying for me to go somewhere else. No effort, next to no actual examination. Quick, easy money between regular patients. Try to convince your insurance company to have you scheduled elsewhere. A complete waste of time.

After 2.5-3 years of being in major pain, and multiple visits to numerous Doctors and physical therapy offices in met Dr. Butler. He completely understood just how much pain I was in.. the words that I heard were, "You have to be in alot of pain" and "I can fix you". Hearing those words made me pretty much cry. I was ready!! The procedure was a L4, L5 fusion (seems to be typical) and we schedule the surgery. Amazing! The morning of my surgery was early and by the end of night I was standing up just to see what my results were going to be. I was so surprised, even though I was sore, I wasn't in pain!! I was determined to heal fast!! The next morning I was up walking in the hall and in order to go home I had to pass the tests. I went up a flight of stairs and down again!! Amazing!! I was able to be released from the hospital the day after surgery which they said they had never seen someone leave that early before. I was bound and determined. It's been 1.5 years now and I still… feel amazing! Thank you Dr. Butler for being one of my miracle doctors and giving me my life back!!

I went to see Dr. Butler to get a second opinion. I had been in extreme pain from 2 herniated disks in my neck. After talking extensively with him I knew he was the doctor for me. He performed a 2 level ACDF on me which gave me back 100% use of my arm and relieved my pain. I had complete faith in him and my family and I thank him from the bottom of our hearts for helping me. While I hope I don't have more spine problems, if I do, he is the ONLY doctor I would trust. His staff is also top notch. Thank you Dr. Butler and staff for taking such good care of me!!
