Jesse Grady

"Jesse is originally from York, South Carolina and moved to the area when she began her undergraduate studies at Clemson University. While studying Psychology, Jesse worked as a line therapist doing Applied Behavioral Analysis Therapy with children who have Autism. Jesse graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and pursued her bachelor’s in Nursing following graduation. Jesse’s nursing career has been in the Neonatal ICU and she has also worked with pediatric patients in the Children’s Hospital. Jesse has spent many shifts precepting nursing students and has even been a clinical instructor for Clemson University’s OB course. After working a few years in the NICU, Jesse graduated with her master’s degree from Clemson University’s Family Nurse Practitioner program. Jesse has always felt a strong pull to work in mental health and recognizes that our mental health is just as important as our physical health. She believes that each treatment plan should be individualized to the …patient and although medication management is an important piece of the treatment plan, so is maintaining a healthy diet, staying active, and having healthy outlets for stress in place. Jesse is looking forward to working with patients of all ages; However, her special patient population interests are adolescents, and women who are suffering from post-partum anxiety and depression. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. Her family loves the outdoors and during the weekends in the summer you can find them at the lake!"
