Thankfully, I ended up at Dr. Putnam's office for a right carpal tunnel release after seeing another doctor's surgical team that I ended up not being comfortable with. When I saw her, it was the same day as my surgery I had just walked out of and I was still a little worked up over that experience. Dr. Putnam showed such warmth, kindness and compassion towards me that she IMMEDIATELY put me at ease. She explicitly explained the process to me and took as much time as I needed to answer questions. Even her office staff did more than they needed to with me since my surgery was so close to my appt with Dr. Putnam. I only had 3 days between appt and surgery since Dr. Putnam required a pre-op physical. The other doctor did not (even though they're annoyingly inconvenient, I absolutely see the sense to have one). I just had a completely different and positive experience with Dr. Putnam than with the other. I will eventually need my left hand done and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.… Everything fell into place with Dr. Putnam and I'm so grateful to her to have the use of my hand back!
