Dr. Jill Beth Ostrager, MD

I went in for an appt recently and waited 15 minutes to be brought in to the room. That was to be expected and didn't bother me. What did bother me was that i sat in the room in a gown for 30 minutes with one person coming in at about 15 minutes confirming which doctor i was waiting for. Right at the 30 minute mark, i was starting to get up to get dressed and find a new doctor, a PA came in and was shocked to hear the doctor hadn't yet come in. The door was open and i was loud in my complaint of waiting 45 minutes from my appt. time. Dr. Ostrager immediatly came in but never once apologized for any delay - which i found dismissive. I had trouble being open after that because i felt that her lack of acknowledgement was dismissive and uncaring. The content of the appt. was fine. I will go back one more time but if this happens again i will find another doctor.

If I could give the office staff negative stars I would. They were the WORST, rudest, angriest, most unhappy people I have ever met. Dr. Ostrager herself is fantastic but unfortunately the people who work for are a reason to not see her.

One of the most caring docby phone tors I have ever met. She follows up on physical examination results and, when necessary, has referred me to excellent specialists. I would recommend her to friends and acquaintances and have done so.

Dr. Ostrager is the best doctor I have had. She is accurate in her diagnosis and takes the time to listen to my questions and provides answers that someone without an MD can understand. She has a wonderful, warm bedside manner and takes the time to know her patients, not just their medical charts.I have recommended her to several friends with similar results. Everyone who has gone to her has felt the same way about her as I do.

I've been a patient for a few years and have always found Dr. Ostrager to be pleasant, involved and willing to answer any questions I've had. She's referred to good specialists when necessary and followed-up on the outcomes.

this doctor is not interested in asking me any questions about my health or even giving me a physical - twice she has written my refill prescriptions incorrectly - her staff is rude and apathetic
