Please be careful before you pick this person as your therapist. Her Psychology Today write up says she has a specialty in Addiction and she does not. We went to her with the understanding she could help with depression and addiction and we believe we were misled as she has no experience with addiction. She told us that she would refer us to another specialist if addiction issues got out of control and she never did. She is someone who believes so strongly in the therapist patient relationship and that trust between the two that even when things are spiraling out of control she will do whatever it takes to maintain that trust. Thus, if the patient needs more help she will not refer out or assist further. Make sure you interview her thoroughly and understand what your actual needs are before employing her. Unless you are going for relationship issues do not go to this therapist.
