Dr. Bruce is very caring and responsive.

She takes the time to listen and explain any questions or concerns.

She listens and she real direct with her answers and concern with are issues.

She was clear, direct and professional, giving me confidence in her skills.

Seemed very competent and explained what all will be done.

In no way is this review to tarnish anyone's name but more to make future patients aware. I wish I had that luxury... I had left (first) and right side (6 mos later) inguinal hernia repair surgery done by DR Bruce. All was good and fine until I started feeling discomfort on my left side. I went back to DR Bruce and she did a cough test and said no it has not come back. A couple weeks go by and I start having more pain in my left groin so I asked DR Bruce if I could have a CT scan done, so I did, come to find out that my left side had reoccurred. Fine, these hernias do have a chance of reoccurrence... so I got it repaired by DR Bruce, about 6 months after my ct scan. About a month after the left side repair I felt a sharp sudden pain in my right groin. I went to another doctor to have it checked out, he did the cough test and told me the right side had reoccurred... I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I got another ct scan from this doc and he confirmed that the right… side was back... and my world crumbled. I called DR Bruce to let her know the right side had reoccurred... she tells me that according to the first ct scan, that I took with her, both sides had reoccurred. So my question was to her, why wasn't I told that both sides had reoccurred? She said because I wasn't having symptoms! Really!? DR Bruce knew I'm an active 33 year old male that plays sports and used to lift heavy weights...… so why would I want to get both sides fixed at the same time????? My new doc is baffled by this as well. Don't get me wrong here, DR Bruce and her staff are fantastic. I'm not blaming her for my reoccurrences, because I'm not able to prove if it was poor practice or something I did, even though I followed all her suggestions. What I'm confused about is why wasn't I told about both reoccurrences. Now I have to get this fixed which is causing me to meet my deductible of $3,000 which should have been done, or at least mentioned, the first time. That'll be $10k in the last 2 years over hernia surgeries and two months of missed work, a lot of money for a person like me! T o make this right, I would need to be compensated for having to meet my deductible again and paid for more missed time off work. This never would have been the case if I was told that both sides had reoccurred during my first ct scan.

Dr. Jinnie Bruce does not care about her patients. I had my gallbladder removed recently and she said I would only get one incision, she ended making 3 and not telling me about after the surgery. In fact, I never saw her after the surgery. She was also very late to my surgery and felt like she was rushing me through questions I had before the procedure. Horrible bedside manner. I guess her only skill is to open bodies and do mediocre surgeries. I have also tried to follow up with her, and she just dismisses every concern I have. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this lady. She's a "know it al dr" without actually knowing much.

Very thorough and understanding. Great attitude and bedside manners. Definitely will be my go to for any other procedures. Thank you Dr. Bruce.

Dr. Bruce was kind, thorough, and understanding. Great bedside manner and expert knowledge of my condition. She took time to go through my treatment options and did not pressure any particular course of action. She was also running on time, which is amazing and unexpected. I am glad to have found her! Thanks, Dr. Bruce!
