He is very caring and professional He knows his subject well I see him since last six years.

He is my psychiatrist since last eight years. I can not think of better than him. I am working now live with my boyfriend. I am sober from drugs since two years. He helped me so much. I was referred to him from shelter. He is great.

I like him very much. He is there for me for my difficulty for depression and anxiety. He wrote letter to my employer which really help me I was promoted on my jod last year. He is the best psychiatrist. Linda Burk

When I first began seeing Dr Patel I knew I was overpaying and mentioned it at every visit. I was berated and told I didn’t understand their billing. I finally had to have my insurance company call and explain they were in the wrong before I was reimbursed and charged the correct amount. I stayed on after changing jobs even though they did not accept my new insurance, therefore paying 3x what I would have paid elsewhere because I believed patient history meant something. It does not. In the 7 years I’ve been a patient, I’d if I come in having a particularly hard time I’m told “you need to learn better coping skills. Everyone has stress in their life.” The fact I have NOT harmed myself or anyone else is testament to the fact I normally cope pretty darn well. Sometimes things accumulate and overwhelm you. I seek a psychiatrist to reassure me and guide me through those times, not tell me to suck it up. Consider my file closed. I can pay less to have someone treat me like an a**hole.

Dr. Patel has been my doctor for around three years. I'd been improperly diagnosed several years earlier by another doctor, and Dr. Patel made the correct diagnosis. He changed my meds, and I'm doing better now. I see him in his office south of St. Louis, and I have no plans to go elsewhere. He's a good doctor.
