Dr. Joan Berna Savitsky, MD

Dr. Savitsky as far as I know may have retired or at least is no longer affiliated with Mt. Auburn Hospital. This rating is from when she was. She was my primary care provider for many years. She seriously mis-diagnosed me, did not listen or take responsible medical action re: referrals to specialists & seriously contributed to the increase in severity & difficulty to treat my medical diagnosis, by her inappropriate disregard of my symptoms, refusal to do certain basic tests that would have led to proper diagnosis, earlier appropriate treatment & horrific pain & suffering that I sustained as a result of her incompetence & lack of professional ethics, despite appearing to be careful & I know, liked by some other patients (the ones I know of do not have a serious medical condition). She had administrative positions or top affiliations with the administration at both the hospital & the managed care plan I was enrolled in & seemed to be following hospital & managed care guidelines… rather than attending properly to my medical symptoms, beyond what was medically responsible/ethical)
