Dr. Joanna Marie Davies, MD

Dr Joanna Davies is an excellent physician who is thorough and efficient. Unfortunately, she is also irritable, erratic and sometimes nasty. One visit may go wonderfully well followed by a visit in which you ask a question and she rears back, barks, "well why don't you just be your own doctor, then!!" She fired me as a patient out of a trumped up excuse. Truly inexcusable and unprofessional in a physician.

Dr Joanna Davies offers a refreshing brand of straight-talk medicine. She really has no filters so you are going to get the clearest answers to all your healthcare questions. I find this type of direct interaction very reassuring. You never the office with any doubt that you've been heard and responded to in kind. Absolutely top-notch care.

Not a nice person. Says nasty things about other doctors. Not a very observant clinician. Missed major, but quite obvious autoimmune disorder in my case.

I went to see this doctor because of an abcess in my armpit that I had drained at an emergency services clinic three days before. She didn't even want to look at it, just told me she couldn't do anything about it. Then she wanted to sign me up for an eye exam and a colonoscopy. She certainly seemed like someone who doesn't want to be doing the job they're doing. I'm not going back there.

She's the best doctor I've ever had I switch my insurance just so I could remain with her. She really cares about you and in a world where everything and everyone is so hyper focused on money she's a breath of fresh air.

The office staff were all wonderful. I didn't have to wait long at all to be seen by Dr. Davies. She came in like a cowboy, very confident and I thought she was funny. Argued with her a little bit about records and me being headstrong like her won't quit until my records pop in her computer and she apologize. Oddly, I did like her arrogance and I complimented it by showing her that I was not intimidated at all. In fairness, she was so thorough, spent a longer time with than the usual doctors I have visited, and did a test that was not part of the reason why I came to see her. She was passionate in helping me and I think she went over and above her call of duty for my cause. I like her and I feel confident that she diagnosed me accurately.

Seems intelligent and informed, but was very rude, impatient and unfriendly. She seemed annoyed by having to speak with a patient, and offended me at least 6 times in 20 minutes. Despite her apparent competence, her demeanor inspired no trust whatsoever. She just doesn't seem to care at all about her patient.

I have read these reviews and wonder if we are rating the same doctor. I have been with Dr Davies for 4+ yearsand have nothing but great things to say about her. She is friendly has conversation with you to put you at ease. She is through in her examination and explains the process. She is one of the few dr who is interested in her patient. I will recommend her to anyone. At first i thought het nurse was indifferent but after all these years I think she is just a professional. I never had to wait more than 30 mins for my appointment.
