Dr. Joanne Kriege, MD

Not only did I hear about her views on the vaccine through the entire appointment less 10 minutes, I was never examined. She was confrontational, and judgmental. I cannot believe how poorly I was treated . I am not going back, and I’m sure she could care less.

I am a physician with a complicated joint problem. Dr. Kriege has been a remarkable help and her great listening ability, expertise, and explanations are superior and rarely found. I would recommend Dr. Kriege without hesitation.

I have had nothing but good experiences in the dane system overall, but I do not recommend this rheumatologist in general. She rushed to a diagnosis and it very much felt like my concerns were just dismissed instead of addressed. She directly countered things that I've been told in the process of getting a diagnosis, and didn't properly examine the areas I was trying to bring up as an issue. I am sure she has a specialty, but I don't think she handles complicated cases very well compared to my experiences so far. If your case is cut and dry, it might be a different story and I'm sure she's helped a lot of patients with obvious arthritis/etc. But if you're struggling to find a proper diagnosis, you might want to try seeing someone else in the system.

Dr Kriege first saw me as an emergency when no one else would. She listens and has compassion. My treatment has allowed me to have a productive job and home life.

I have been to a couple different Rheumatologist's in the past 10 yrs. and I have to say that Dr. Joanne Kriege has got to be one of the most qualified and efficient doctors I have seen in a long time. She has a great beside manner, she is very caring, takes time to really listen to you, believes in Fibromyalgia (which is huge to me) and she will try and do what ever it takes to relieve the pain that your in. I have had shots in the office that worked so good & sample meds if you cant afford yours. I wish there were more Dr.'s like her. Thanks to her I have some self worth and look forward to seeing her in the future.

Call your insurance to make sure you are covered by this MD! The people @ the desk do not have a clue what insurances they take, but the billing dept. will when they send out your bill. Mine was $2500.00. This MD put me through unnecessary tests and did not diagnose me properly. Not someone you would want to see if you are suffering with an autoimmune disease!
