My first visit: Very patient, attentive, and well-informed.

Patient and personable, makes you feel comfortable. She is friendly and very considerate of your understanding of what she is doing, will do, and why. Will answer any questions you may have about your health and health in general.

Dr. Chitwood is considerate, skilled and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her and the office staff.

Dr. Chitwood's office told me my physical would cost $91.00. I have been getting bills from the Lab for over $400 which I was never told about and which I never authorized. Their office has been totally unreceptive in helping me solve the issue.

Dr. Chitwood is the best doctor I have ever had.

I am a bad patient and have always tried to stay away from going to the Doctor throughout my life. I recently had a scare that made me go see one after 8 years of no medical care. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Dr. Chitwood had a very calming personality while being "no nonsense" which I like. When we are overweight and basically not in great shape - we know it -, most doctor's "preach" at us about it. Dr. Chitwood just gives you the information and recommendations on how to get better, but no sermon. I appreciate that very much.

Hello Dr Chitwood and staff. I am finally getting back to the doctor and I was on your site getting info for my new patient forms. Dr. Chitwood, you and your staff were excellent. You saw my mom as well and you were always very nice to her and answered her repeated questions. She has moderate stage Alzheimer's. She is doing good and still in Georgia at an assisted living facility. I don't think I have found the right doctor for her yet but her health has continued to be good. I was trying to manage things from Florida which resulted in numourous reschedulings which was not working well for you or me. No hard feelings at all and I still think you were the best doctor I have seen and your staff was always professional and accommondating. I like your site and it is full of great info. It took three days and two calls to get a message through to Dr. Chitwood.

I had seen Dr Chitwood for several years but was never totally happy w/ her and even less happy w/ her staff. Nurse is flippant, rude, unfriendly, and needs to find a different line of work. Frequently got transferred around to dif people in office for routine phone calls. Dr is pleasant enough but just never seemed to genuinely care about me and my medical issues. Had impression she'd rather be anywhere else. Finally changed DRs and learned I had a serious medical isue that left untreated would have proven fatal. New DR saw this immediately when reviewing my records and lab results from previous year. Dr Chitwood and her staff never bothered to notify me or mention this problem in 2 office visits after the lab results were available. So glad I switched to a competant DR at Piedmont. Only plus to Dr Chitwood and staff is they are most often on time.

Was referred by 2 separate friends who both coincidentally have her as a doctor. Good bedside manner. Seems smart, thorough. Office was efficient and wait was not long. Would definitely recommend.
