I pursued a telehealth provder because my PCP is booked for the next two days. I have been quite sick, so I thought this might be a viable option. Big mistake! My virtual visit with Jodit Beyene, NP, consisted of me relaying my symptoms (unrelenting cough for 3 days, headache, body aches, coughing up green mucus) followed by her instructing me to tap my forehead and sinuses once and then take a deep breath in and out. With that, she was able to determine that my sickness did not warrant antibiotics and suggested I take acetaminophen. Really? I would prefer that providers simply do not offer virtual visits rather than provide this kind of sub-par service. I’m sure I’ll be charged the price of a regular doctor’s visit and for what exactly I’m not sure! Very disappointed! In addition, I found Jodit Beyene to be quite rude and dismissive when I met with her. I recommend steering clear of her!
