Dr. Jody Butler Aronson, MD

This is the worst gynecologist I have ever seen. Not only is Jody Aronson rude, uncaring, does not follow through on trying to figure out your problem as well as unprofessional, she should not be allowed to operate on people. I came to Jody due to fibroids and several other female issues, which she ignored, and she immediately said I had to have a full hysterectomy without doing any x-rays to confirm the size and location of fibroids. This 1st visit was very brief and I left very confused and not feeling properly addressed or that my issues were heard or taken seriously in apt.. I was never given alternatives to surgery nor any literature about this full hysterectomy when I asked. I was told that there was no literature. So I am to assume what is involved in this full hysterectomy. Once I started asking lots of questions Jody rudely told me to go somewhere else and hung up in my face. This lady is a ticking time bomb and should retire. One good thing that did come out of this bad… experience, which was the lord showed me who Jody really was thus not allowing her to operate on me as she probably would have botched the surgery. Jody is a horrible individual and I wish I would have read her reviews 1st. Also the office she has is so outdated, you have to hand right your name on a pee cup as no labels are able to be produced. That should have been my initial sign to run. One good lesson i learned is if you don't have a good feeling about a dr you are seeing, immediately see a different dr.. Jody doesn't even deserve 1 star but I had to put the 1 star in order to post my review.

16 years ago my wife had a cesarean section from Dr. Aronson. After delivery, the doctor asked me whether my wife would still need her uterus. In the room, “Do you want me to put this back in or take it out?” Nuts.

I love Dr. Aronson. She may be a busy doctor but if i need to talk to her she always makes time for me. The staff at the Torrance lication are friendly and professional. I recommend Dr. Aronson.

I WAS A NEW PATIENT THEY GOT ME IN REAL FAST (FASTER THEN OTHER PLACES) DR ARONSON'S NURSE WAS SO FRIENDLY, DR ARONSON WAS AWESOME VERY DOWN TO EARTH I USUALLY FEEL INTIMIDATED BY DOCTOR'S OFFICES BUT I FELT RIGHT AT HOME, WHEN I CHECKED OUT THE GIRL THERE WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL ALONG WITH THE REST OF THE STAFF. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE.

Dr. Arronson is a nice lady. She is in and out when you visit her. If you need to ask a question make sure you ask fast before she leaves. Her staff is not very friendly and professional. I encountered one who was just rude.

My wife went there for a regular check up, due to previous infection. Once at home we received bill for $300 for unrequested lab tests. We were never asked for those test, but was interesting, when my wife told the head nurse, nobody ever run this test before asking me, she just told my wife "every doctor runs her office different"For us, time to look for different Dr.

I love Dr. Aronson and her staff. They delivered both my babies. Now, I'm reaching menopause and they are treating my condition with promptness while caring. I drive 2 hours to see Dr. Aronson, yes, she's that good!!

I have been seeing Dr. Aronson for 2 years now, though a miscarriage and a baby. In both circumstances she was thoughtful, professional and through. With the miscarriage she performed a DnC and was very patient with me in explaining what it was, I was understandably very upset. After the procedure I even contacted her late on a weekend because I was unsure if my fever was too high and she very patiently listened to my symptoms, told me what to do if there was a problem (there wasn't) and scheduled a follow-up for that Monday. With my second pregnancy she was so understanding about my fears of another miscarriage, and spent ample time answering my questions. She doesn't volunteer a ton of information unless you ask for it but is more than willing to have a seat and discuss what you need.She does work with Dr.Rosenthal and sometimes you see him instead of her if she is in surgery but he is great too. The office staff was very kind, and when I just went back (5 months later) for a… check-up they remembered me, asked about my child by name and were very kind. I plan to continue with Dr. Aronson for a long time!

I have been seeing Dr. Aronson since 1996 when I became pregnant with my now 13 and a half year old. Dr. Aronson delivered her, my third child, naturally. I had a natural birth with my first and a C-Section with my second (car accident). She did the necessary research to make sure the delivery would be safe (obtained my old records). Everything went smoothly and I have seen her ever since. Yes, she is often very busy which can come off as rushed. Most of my doctors are rushed! They must see a lot of patients, espeically if they choose to participate in an HMO, which these doctors do. I am thankful since I have an HMO. Her husband did an ultrasound on me, but I have never been forced to see him-ever. I find those stories to be highly suspicious. I also think the story about her pushing a C-Section sounds untrue. She has a strong personality and if you want to be heavily babied, then you might be dissatisfied. She can be short, but she does care. Being a doctor is tough!

My experience was overall unpleasant after seeing Dr. Aronson. She spent about 5 minutes conducting an exam on me, and came to the conclusion that I probably have endometrosis, told me that I probably am infertile, and if I want to have children, to have them "sooner than later". She then suggested investigative surgery, or a hysterectomy...I'm 25 years old, and have no children. She didn't even ask if I want to have children in the future!!! Came to all of these conclusions after a 5 minute, rushed examination. I felt rushed, confused, and depressed after the examination. I am currently seeking another doctor who is more compassionate, and can actually help me. Oh and also, she continually suggested pumping me up with hormones and pain medication...although I specified that I did not want to take any hormones...What an experience.
