Dr. Gottlieb is always very friendly courteous caring and most of all professional. He genuinely cares for your well being. His staff is just as caring and professional. I called without an appointment because I had some discomfort in my eye and the staff was able to get me in asap. Couldn't see going anywhere else for my eye care.

Pleasant receptionist greeted me. I did not have to wait for more than two minutes. Nurse was friendly and professional. Doctor Gottlieb was friendly and caring. Check out people were kind and friendly. Thank you all!

Great doctor who cares

Dr. Gottlieb & staff are extremely professional, knowledgeable and courteous. It is always a pleasure visiting his office on my annual exam.

I have been a patient for 30 years. Always Informative abd compassionate

I had been recommended to this office by two physicians, and have been experiencing loss of vision, which I believed to be due to cataracts. I was unable to get an appointment with Dr. Pinke, so I made an appointment with his associate. I got a good examination, and indeed, it was cataracts. The office pushed laser surgery, in fact showing me a three minute commercial about how much better laser surgery is than the method that Medicare pays for. (they also told me I needed vitamins and eye drops until the surgery, and when I checked out it was at a cost of $110, which I had not expected). When I asked about getting glasses until the surgery could be done, as I am concerned about driving, I was treated as if I was an imbecile, and told "you have to understand you have to have surgery". I didn't dispute that, but unless the surgery could be done the next day, I was concerned about driving. The doctor refused to give me a prescription to tide me over until surgery, I finally… persuaded him, but he told me, again as if I were a senile old lady, that "this won't work after surgery, you know". Turns out, the surgery can't be done for three months - so I needed the prescription!!!!! And it also turns out, that this particular doctor pushed a friend of mine to get multifocal lenses - at a cost of $2800 per eye - that my friend has had nothing but trouble with! As convenient as this office is to my home, I will NOT be going back to a place where the doctor was arrogant and obnoxious. I will be finding another surgeon. I think the doctor was annoyed that I was asking questions (very respectfully, I always ask questions about my healthcare). As a professional myself (he didn't know that), I was appalled at how I was treated. I think because of my age, 66, certain assumptions are made.
