Plan to fall in love. I had a fairly routine surgery by Dr Thompson but in my case it required expertise that not all orthopedic surgeon have. I had developed CRPS (RSD)after a hand surgery by another surgeon previously . I lived in agony for some years. Now I faced having another hand surgeon that had become mandatory. It is common for this rare neurological condition to develop again after having it happen once . Knowing this, Dr Thompson immediately put me at ease, he came and sat in the chair next to me assuring me that “all would be well “ and, it was as he coordinated every aspect of my surgery to ensure that correct procedures were in place to prevent a recurrence of CRPS. I recommend him highly.

I saw Dr. Thompson this morning. His assessment was thorough and then he explained my treatment options, involving me in my healthcare. He was kind and professional and truly seems to care about his patients.

Dr. Thompson treated me for trigger finger, and is currently treating me for osteoarthritis in my thumbs. He also helped out my wife, treating her after she cut her thumb. He is personable, friendly, and talks to you like you’re a person, not just a patient. He makes it easy to ask questions because you do not feel intimidated by him. All that and my trigger finger is fixed and normal. He’ll soon fix my thumb issues too. My wife thought he was pretty cool too. When it hurt her to have her thumb examined he comforted her explaining to her everything she needed to know about her damaged thumb. He’s a great guy and skillful doc - I’d recommend him in a heartbeat.

Waited 1.5 hours, and the doctor was inconsiderate of my wait time, and has poor bedside manners

Saw this dr for shoulder pain that had become disabling. He told me I needed to read a book about being 10% happier....! I saw a different shoulder surgeon, had my shoulder fixed and now instead of reading a book I'm back on my mountain bike! Say WHAT!???

Dr. Thompson is so very kind and gentle. Be explains all my options thoroughly so I can make the most appropriate and informed decision.

Dr. Thompson has performed surgery on my shoulder in the past with tremendous success. When the same problem occurred with the other shoulder there is no one else I trust but him to fix it. Dr. Thompson is kind, compassionate and caring. I have absolute trust in him and his skill as a surgeon.

He called me at home to check up on me on a Sunday! That has never happened. I was very impressed with his kindness and knowledge.
