Dr. Dzoiba did surgery on my back after 2 failed attempts by a neurosurgeon.

I was diagnosed with "severe degenerative disc disease" two years before I couldn't stand the pain of it. I saw Dr. Dzioba to schedule a surgery, which did not "take." I had a spinal fusion, performed by Dzioba. It was a risk, and it happened. I don't blame Dzioba. Since then, I've seen many doctors who have ran scans/imagings of all kinds (with and without contrast and everything between). They were either curious why I still hurt, or I demanded it one way or another. From this, I've learned I have "multi-level" degeneration continuing up my spine - same as before. Obviously, it caused my pain to BEGIN with enough to warrant surgery, correct? Well, why doesn't it matter to the staff that it's happening all over again? Something is WRONG with that, and because of Debbie, I can't even get a message through to the Doctor. Much less, express my concerns about HER to someone else! Excuse my rant:Being in my early thirties, I naively believed that people in the medical… profession (nurses and such) do what they do because they must truly care about people. Debbie taught me that is not the case. My pain bothers her naught. She actually said, "you only had one level..." (Yeah, lady, and a 13 inch scar! And if you touch my spine and the swollen LUMP, you can feel my heartbeat -- GEE, Debbie! Does YOUR spine do that?) She doesn't have a CLUE.
