Dr. Joel Anthony Wallskog, MD

I have had no problem with any staff at this office. They have been caring and cooperative with me. I prefer Dr Wallskog as my ortho surgeon and hope to have him replace my hip. He is informative and pleasant and my husband and I agree he is the surgeon that can do complicated hip replacement surgery.

Went to him on a recommendation as he is one of only two surgeons who performs the procedure I needed in the state of Wisconsin. He spoke to me once before the surgery for about three minutes and after for about four or five. For my six week follow up I heard someone in the hallway ask, "Is this the guy who plays hockey?", his response was, "I have no idea. " The main trigger for me coming in was because I noticed the pain more when playing hockey and wanted to be able to continue playing. His staff, with the exception of Cody (PA) are pretty rude and seemed as though they are bothered whenever a question is asked. I recommend shopping around a bit before committing to this surgeon.

Unfortunately this Dr has an attutude problem

Dr. Wallskog is an excellent physician. Took time to explain everything to me before and after my hip replacement surgery. Staff very kind and helpful . I am very happy with my surgery experience with Dr. Wallskog and would recommend him very highly.

Dr Wallskog was very easy to talk to and gave me the time that I needed. He answered all of my questions using his knowledge and experience. I would recommend Dr. Wallskog for any upcoming hip replacements.
