Dr. John Warren Acampa, MD

I've been a patient with Dr Acampa for over 1 yr and his receptionist by the name of Kate is very disrespectful and rude to patients and doesn't know what she's doing..she doesn't follow patients instructions for their well-being and think she owns the business.. DON'T VISIT THIS PLACE IT A DUMP ESPECIALLY WITH THAT RECEPTIONIST AT THE HELM...very disappointed and just wasted my time doing any business with them...she needs to go now or else she'll ruin your business Dr Acampa.

If you're a delicate flower who can't deal with someone telling you like it is then this isn't your doctor. if you want the best care there is available, go to doctor Acampa. the staff, particularly Kay are phenomenal...........

Hirrible Doctor

Thank you sooo much Doctor Acampa for doing such a great job on both of my hands. I suffered with carpal tunnel for such a long time. I was recommended by a girlfriend of mine to go and see him as he did such a wonderful job on reconstructing her foot. I found Dr Acampa professional and answered all of my questions. Thank god I have my hands back. The staff are wonderful as well. I will be recommending Dr Acampa always.

He casted my mother aged 85 for wrist fracture at Good Sam emergency hospital . She was in a lot of pain, fingers swollen, sent her home without a sling and when he saw her for her follow uo, he said it hurts because she is not keeping her hand up. I questioned why didnt you send her home with a sling or tell her what she needed to do. He answered , the hospital should have given you something. He was very rough handling my mothers arm, she was crying and screaming when he slit the cast off and said, that doesnt hurt, why are you crying. She told him to stop and he continued. Very arrogant , unprofessional mannerisms. I don't recommend him. I should have realized, Good Samaratan is one of the worst hospitals on Long Island and terrible on -call doctors. I was quite disappointed the way he treated my mother. Beware. Office wait and paperwork was awful! 10 pages .

Dr. Acampa was the Dr. on the night I was taken to emergency room. I kept asking nurses in the hospital what they thought about Dr. Acampa because I didn't think he was that nice. They all told me hang in there, he is a great Dr. Well, I did and they were right! Wouldn't go to any other orthopedic surgeon. Love Dr. Acamp!

Busy office, office staff professional & helpful. Dr. Acampa doesn't rush, listens to all your concerns & suggests medical treatment options. Only drawback is the office waiting time to see this knowledgeable & caring physician is around 40 min.
