Dr. John Ambrosia, MD

Dr. Ambrosia has operated on my wrist and hand for two different diagnoses. I was very happy with my experiences on both occasions. He spent time with me explaining my situation and discussing my options. I felt completely comfortable asking questions, and he was able to answer with confidence in a manner that was easy to understand. In both cases, Dr. Ambrosia was able to completely take care of my problems, and my wrist and hand are functioning perfectly and without pain now. The only drawback to seeing Dr. Ambrosia is that his orthopedic group, KOC, is known to have long wait times. I have experienced this with several doctors in the group, and I feel the problem is not with the physicians themselves, but with the way the group is run. That being said, I will wait to see a good surgeon.

Waited forever to see the doctor (Over an hour!) Was overcharged by his office at first. Was like pulling teeth to get them to bill me a fair amount, which they eventually did several phone calls later. Billing department lied to me about charges and were extremely rude. Was not impressed with the doctor or his office. Will not be ever using this office or doctor again.

He saved 3 of my fingers on my left hand that were cut off In an accident. I can now use my hand and have full function of all my fingers with no problems. He also has worked several times on both of my mom's hands including both thumbs. We both feel he is a supreme surgeon that has been blessed with the knowledge and ability to help God's children. I recommend him to anyone in need of a hand surgeon. We also consider him most as a great friend.
